A/N - hey guys! New chapter! I think there's only gonna be a few more more in the book. But I've already got a sequel running through my head. I'm actually on a small vacation right now so the next chapter will either come out really quick or really slow depending on what I'm doing and how tired I am after.. Thank you all for how supportive you've been and leaving all the sweet comments. I appreciate all of you and I do read all the comments.

George’s POV
Maybe it hadn’t been a good idea to tag along with Dream and Sapnap. I sat in the backseat of the car, fiddling with my hands as the two boys discussed how they were going to do things. I wasn’t worried about myself, I figured his dad wouldn’t do anything to dream or I with so many of us there. But Sapnap was another story, it seemed to be a lot easier to get away with things when it was your own child rather than a stranger. And with Sapnaps and I’s history, who knows how he’d react.
But here I was. It took a little convincing, first from Sapnap, then Dream. Neither of them wanted me to come along, stating it was dangerous or something along those lines. But even if I was nervous I needed this. Not only for Sapnap to prove he was trying, but for me, so I could see a little into what he's been going through. I needed to understand.
As the car pulled into the driveway Sapnap turned around to look at me with a concerned look on his face, “Are you coming inside, or staying here? It might be safer-”
“I’m going in. I wanted to come with you’re not sticking me in a dumb car.” Before Dream could get any of his thoughts in, I already stepped out of the car. Anxiety racking my body.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes Dream."
"Okay, are you going to be okay Sapnap?"
He flashes a strained smile, "I've got you two with me I won't be alone."
With that, he makes his way to the door and Dream and I follow. When he gets up on the porch he tentatively knocks on the door.
It's his mother who opens it. "Nick! Baby, you're back! Your father said you ran off for no reason."
"I'm only here to grab my stuff mom." I watched Sapnap as he flinched away from her touch.
"Sweetheart, what's up with that?"
"He hit me mom."
"Of course he didn't, he's your father!"
"He did. He hit me because I'm gay mom."
A look of disgust passes over her face before she smiles again, "You're being dramatic. You know he doesn't support that, but he'd never hit you. Are you sure he wasn't just trying to understand?"
I speak up for him, "I'm sorry ma'am, but if you'd actually look at your son's face you'd see the proof right there."
She seems to be seeing Dream and I for the first time, "You brought your friends?"
"Of course, I needed some people to help move everything."
It takes a little more convincing but eventually we're all able to come in and go up to his room. His mom seemed to understand but had a hard time believing her husband would do anything. Sapnaps father was apparently at work, having had something come up.
After around half an hour of packing stuff, Dream and I were alone in Nick's room when we heard yelling from down the stairs. We looked at eachother and the blonde shook his head with a "No" before I was rushing down the stairs.
“George!” Dream tried calling out but it was too late.
Nick’s Father turns to look at me, then back at Nick, “God I knew you’d bring Dream to try and protect you, but why’d you let this pathetic excuse of a man come with?”
“Dad I- he-”
“Don’t you dare call me your father, I didn’t raise a son who acts like that… something super homophobic, I don’t know I don’t wanna write that.”
I couldn’t believe how someone's parents could be so horrible, “That's your child! How can you talk to him like that. Thank God he’s leaving, Sapnap deserves so much better than you!”
“George.. Please stay out of this.” He looked so terrified and broken.
His father takes a step forward towards us and I take a step back, “You should listen to your ‘boyfriend’. This isn’t about you.”
“You made it about me when you insulted me and my boyfriend.” Sapnap sends me an exasperated look. “And I’m going to keep telling you to back up. ALl we’re doing is getting his stuff, and Nick, Dream and I will be out of your hair. So kindly fuck off, and we won’t give you any more trouble.”
“You think you can tell me what to do? You’re in my house.” He quickly steps forward, pulling his arm back, “I’ll do whatever the fuck I want.”
My instincts take over and I rush forward, hearing someone yell, “George no!”
The only thing I remember before blacking out was falling into Sapnaps warm arms.
…
When I come back I’m sitting on the front lawn, someone's arms keeping me upright. I bring a hand up to touch my aching jaw and let out a hiss at the feeling.
“Oh good, you’re awake. I didn’t want to call an ambulance unless it was absolutely necessary.” Dreams voice rings through my ear and I feel the arms move. He repositions in front of me, still gently holding me. “Are you okay? How bad does your head hurt? Do you have a headache, Sapnap caught you so you shouldn't have a concussion but-”
“You’re rambling, stop,” I cut him off, “I feel fine, just my jaw hurts. And please move, I can sit up on my own,”
“Oh. Sorry. I just want to make sure you're fine.”
“Well, other than the huge bruise that's on my jaw, the only other pain I have is emotional. Where’s Nick anyway? Is he okay? His dad didn’t do anything else, did he?”
He smiles reassuringly, “Nicks just fine, Cora kicked his dad out after you were hit, they’re talking in the kitchen.”
“Can I see him?”
“See who?” Nick's voice rings in my ears and I stand up a little too quickly, falling into his arms, “Slow down there, let's not hurt ourselves anymore.”
His arms are nice and warm and I have to remind myself we’re not together before I kiss him. “It was just a punch.”
“You shouldn’t have been the one to get hurt.” He pulls away to hold me at arms length, “We should get back to Dream’s though. We can talk more about it there, plus you need to get ice on that.”
“What about the rest of your stuff?” Dream speaks up.
“I’ve got what's important, we can’t fit much more in the car anyway. We can go out to the mall sometime for me to get anything else.”
