It will take 2 more months for the marriage to take place and I am very happy with this news. I went to buy my bridal dress the previous day and they asked 60 days for it to be made so yeah I am pretty lucky in that way.

And good news being said my friend Clerin is getting married. For the first time in my life, I am going to be a part of a Christian wedding and I am super excited for that, more than my own marriage.

Mumma asked me to ask her son-in-law to go with me to the marriage, my mistake her future son-in-law though she behaves like he is already married to me.

Kimi, ask his permission before doing anything. Like I give any fuck about what he thinks.

He is not less controlling right now if I give him that much control over me, he would start telling me what to wear and what not to wear. I am not really ready to get controlled, not by a man at least who is not even my husband till now.

But at the moment, I need to call him because all my friends are going there with their partners and I would get bored alone.

I called on his phone from which Shantanu called me that day and it went busy, alright, then my phone rang after five minutes.

"Hello", I responded seeing his number.

"Ma'am, it's Kanishk, Sir's PA. He is currently busy in a meeting. He said he would talk to you once it is over", He said as I frowned.

"Okay. Thank You", I answered before hanging up.

"Am I the only useless person left in the world? I have seen nearly all the movies on Netflix. I am done with all the animation movies as well. What am I supposed to do?" I mumbled to myself.

Sharp after half an hour, my phone started ringing. I was close to falling asleep and this happened.

I sighed before picking it up and putting it on my ear.

"You needed something", I heard him.

"That is a very rude way to start a conversation but still I would continue being the mature one here. Actually, my friend is getting married and I needed a partner to go with me", I completed in one breath.

"I am busy", He stated.

"You don't even know when the marriage is taking place", I told him slightly hurt by the way he denied straight on my face.

At least he could've been a little creative and gave me some good reasons behind his sudden denial.

"Yeah, But I am very busy this week", He confirmed as I sighed.

"Okay, no worry. I'll call Angad", I told him sighing.

"Who is Angad now?" He asked me suddenly.

"My school friend, I guess he would be free", I told him.

"Can't you just go alone?" He asked as I sighed.

"If I could've gone alone, I won't have asked you. All my friends are going there with their partners. Aren't you having any meetings in Delhi? You can attend them", I tried to pursue him.

"Alright. I'll see what can I do?" He said.

"Yes, please. If you can make it, it would be lovely. I don't want some man hitting on me seeing me alone", I said sarcastically.

And somehow he made it. He is coming this Thursday but that is not what I am worried about.

I am more worried about my dress. What am I going to wear?

Clerin asked me to wear something western. Well, my mother won't allow me to wear some short dress or my fiancé is somebody who would let it go easily.
