Most people have no idea how beautiful darkness is

She parted her lips to answer when his phone started ringing. He answered the call still looking at her when a frown came on his forehead.

"When?", he asked letting go of his grip around her. She took a sigh of relief as he paced around massaging his forehead.

"But the meeting was scheduled online", he spoke in a harsher tone. She took her seat on the sofa having a glass of water still looking at him curious about what was happening right now.

He hung up after a minute. She sat silently waiting for him to speak anything.

"We are leaving", he stated. She felt sudden happiness enveloping her as she tried to stop the smile on her face.

"What happened?", she asked him still wanted to know what was going on.

"Nothing that you should be aware of. Pack your clothes we are leaving in an hour", he said making her breathe deeply before walking upstairs. If she need to follow his demand to get out of this place, she would do that without hesitation.

They got inside the car. Throughout the drive, Randhir was busy answering the back-to-back phone calls. She chose to sleep peacefully feeling bored of all the business calls.

"I am going to drop you back home. I may reach home late", he told her as she nodded getting her purse from the back seat.

"You didn't even have your breakfast", she spoke suddenly without thinking making him look at her.

"I will have it in the office", he told her trying to know why was she being so caring though he somewhere know her heart was purer than she wanted to show others.

"It will take merely five minutes. I will make something quickly. You can leave after eating", she told him as he stopped the car in front of their mansion.

She walked out following him as he got inside.

"I will just change. You make whatever is easier for you right now", he told her walking upstairs as she nodded covering her head with the veil.

She walked to the kitchen where her mother-in-law was already present.

"What happened? You guys came this early", Rajshri asked surprised.

"He is having some work in the office. So", She answered walking to the refrigerator getting the dough from it to make some chapatis for him.

"You making food", his mother asked her as she nodded.

"He didn't have anything in the breakfast. I can't let him leave hungry", she answered preparing the food. After five minutes, Randhir reached down had his food, and left soon.

He entered inside his building with people bowing in front of him.

He found his assistant standing there waiting for him with his meeting list in one hand. He bowed down in front of his boss and followed him as he entered the elevator.

"I am so sorry sir for calling you like this but it was urgent. They wanted to meet you in person before signing the contract", Kanishk spoke as Randhir continued to listen to him without speaking a word.

"There is something else sir", Kanishk spoke as Randhir stared at him waiting for him to speak.

"Dipika Rawat wanted to meet you", He spoke as Randhir nodded.
