Until we have someone's darkness we don't know who they are.

Until we have forgiven someone's darkness we don't really know what love is.

---------------------------------------------

He walked away after staring at her for a good minute. She slowly opened her eyes as a tear fall down her right eye. She felt stupid and an idiot to give away like this.

It wasn't him this time but her who let this happen. He didn't force her to do anything. It was just her and her damn hormones. The guilt she felt when Angad spoke like that with him let her be weak in front of him.

She felt dirty at this moment. For the first time in her life, she thought one guy genuinely liked her for the person she was instead of loving her body. He was lusting over her. That's why he was just talking about her beauty.

Her own husband always tries to touch her inappropriately. That's why she always wanted to stay away from men. They are toxic. They use you and then throw you away like trash. She continued staring in space not able to understand how she let her guards down.

She couldn't even blame him for anything. It was her standing there wrapping her arms around him pulling him closer to her not the other way around. If she wanted she could have pushed him. He didn't force her at all.

She heard throughout her life to never let her heart or hormonal self decide anything. It was always the brain who worked for her.

She sighed pushing her long hair which was bouncing around on her face to find them tangled. This is the thing she hates about long hair. Them tangling again and again and then herself combing them feeling the hair coming out of her scalp. The pain was really torture.

She looked at the sky to find the dark clouds collecting.

Was it about rain or snow? She wondered before walking inside muttering a small prayer in her mind to not let her be weak anyhow.

She walked to the room, she was staying with him.

He was working on his laptop when her phone started ringing making her frown. His eyes were on her only as she picked up the call.

"Speak", she said walking to the mirror and picking up the hairbrush.

"Whom?", She asked her younger brother as he continued chirping about his newly found girlfriend.

"Mr. Gaurav, you are too young to have a girlfriend", she spoke strictly which made him concentrate back on his work.

"Di, I am 14 already", he spoke making her frown.

"14, you know when I was 14. I was busy studying history not reproduction", she strictly told him.

"Yaar di, I am telling you she is beautiful", Gaurav spoke dreamily.

"Beta Ji, wait till college at least. And be a little shameful, I have taken care of you when your mother went on shopping. Be respectful to me", She spoke with a lazy smile on her face.

"So I should respect you as my mother", he teased making her roll her eyes.

"Just do this only. I am so tired already and you are just blowing up my mind with irritation. But only to tell you if your mother came to know about your dirty secret, you would be running in the streets with her running behind you with a broom in her hand", she spoke as he whined.

"I'll talk to you later", she spoke before hanging up and looking at her reflection.

Her lips were red maybe because of the cold or because of the man sitting behind her. She released a deep breath before combing her hair gently wincing at times. He looked up again to find a deep frown on her forehead.
