I might hurt you at every moment, we spend together but you can't say that I didn't love you because of that hurt. Hurt is just another word for my love for you.

He came back from the office his boots clicking on the rich marble of the floor. He pushed his thick curly hair back which was falling on his forehead before putting his file and phone on the coffee table. He looked around trying to find that one person his eyes were yearning for but couldn't find her anywhere.
He walked to the other side of the house opening the sliding door of the backyard. He found her as usual sitting on the swing having a book in her lap with a glass of warm milk placed in front of her. He sighed removing his shades moving to her.
She stopped changing the pages as she felt his presence around her. He sat beside her checking the temperature of her milk before passing the cup to her which she silently took without speaking much. She sipped on the warm thick liquid looking at the plants.
"There are so many flies here. You should come inside", he said softly as she nodded getting up from her place closing her book.
She didn't really start showing much till now as it was still the 4th month of her pregnancy. He made sure the doctor visits her regularly. He even got a pharmacy ready in the mansion.
"Suniye"
"Listen", she whispered which made him turn to her waiting for her to continue.
"You are a doctor", she stated as he nodded his head.
"Then why don't you do my delivery", she said more like asked making him frown.
"I appointed the best doctor for you. Aren't you comfortable with her?", he asked holding her shoulder making her look up at him making her sigh.
"It's not about comfort. It's about trust. With the turn of events, I don't think I even trust my shadow at this moment at least I can trust the father of my child for his safety", she said softly looking blankly at him.
"If you really want that then I will do your delivery", he told her as she nodded. Her face didn't really show any happiness or sadness, it was just blank. It was this way since the time she woke up.
For the world, she was behaving normally but for Randhir, he completely lost her. Her eyes lost the shine they always had. Even when he forced her to stay with him, there were little flames in her eyes but now it seemed like she lost all the reasons to live.
It was like she was living for her baby. She would have her food when he would ask her not because she was hungry. The Kimaya who could never stay hungry now didn't even feel her hunger anymore.
He made her sit on the bed in their room as her eyes fall on the baby picture of Lord Krishna hanging on the wall which her mother-in-law brought a week ago. She said that it will provide a good aura and safety to the baby inside her womb from evil spirits or evil things in general.
