For some a prologue,
For some an epilogue.

He stared at her for some time before looking away.
"I know it's something very sensitive to discuss with you but I can't help myself. You ask me to be a part of your life and I can't control myself anymore", she spoke looking at the wall with different emotions in her eyes.
"Shantanu told you about me staying here my whole life", he told her as she nodded. One thing she was clear was that he knew every single thing going on in his home.
"How do you know every single thing going around even when you are not around", she asked with an irritated face making him caress her chubby cheeks.
"When you have so many responsibilities on your shoulders, you need to be aware of everything", he said as she hummed with a pout.
He stared at her face for a second before opening his arms.
"Come here", he said making her frown but she followed holding his hand as he pulled her in his arms making her comfortable in his lap. She turned to look at his face with the same curious look.
"Wait a second", she said suddenly making him raise his eyebrow.
"They said curiosity killed the cat", she spoke looking at him making him frown.
"Nobody is killing you and you are nowhere near to a cat. You are my lioness", he spoke making her sit properly leaning back on the bed rest.
"I know. I love this lioness word as well", she said with a smile closing her eyes. He pulled the thick comforter covering them both properly. It was super cold outside and he didn't want her to get sick.
"Are you going to start?", she asked softly as he took a deep breath looking at the ceiling.
"I didn't think ever in my life, I am going to share this with anyone", he spoke as a sigh escaped his lips with his chin on her shoulder. His breath was fanning her face as she shivered lightly.
"You can trust me", she whispered rubbing his arm but he didn't answer.
"Twenty- seven years ago, my father was the next one to take over the business in the name of Ahlawats. He was my grandfather's favorite in all of his sons. My father was punctual, hardworking, and respectful towards every single person. My father was already 21 at that time when my grandfather started searching for a possible bride for him", he spoke before taking a deep breath. She knew it was getting difficult for him. She held his hand before looking at him. His eyes were closed as if he was living every single thing.
"She entered in his life", he spoke and his breathing became quicker.
"Meghna Chopra, the top model of that time. You must have heard about her", he spoke as she thought for a second before shaking her head.
"I don't have any idea. Maybe my mother would be aware of this", she spoke as he hummed.
"My father met her and I don't know what magic she cast on my father that he fell in so-called love with her. My grandfather came to know about this and asked him to choose between two. Either the luxurious life of the Ahlawat family or a life with Meghna Chopra without the name of Ahlawats", he spoke as she continued listening to him.
"The woman he fall in love with came to know and realized she was not going to get anything from the property if my father choose her which he was going to. She asked him to get married to the woman his father wanted and then divorce her after the property is in his name", he spoke as she frowned. How can somebody be this heartless? She wondered continuing rubbing his arms.
