I was the girl who never followed the sun because I always belonged to the moon

Lakshman nodded his head understanding her point as well. She was a loving and caring wife for his grandson. He realized how perfect she was for him. If he would've been the one finding a wife for Randhir, he would've searched for these qualities only in her.
She let out a deep breath after completing her long speech when her eyes fall on the door. She looked at him with guilt as he stood there with crossed arms staring back at her with a hard glint in his eyes. She stood up from her place her bangles making a melodious voice trying to make him understand her point but he just showed him his palm silently telling her to shut up. She gulped as Lakshman looked at Avyukt who was sleeping on his stomach.
"Can I take him with me for the night?", Lakshman asked realizing how the couple needed time to talk.
"You don't have to trouble..", Kimaya was saying when he picked Avyukt up.
"There is no trouble in this. I want to spend some time with the new member of our family", he spoke before moving out of the room.
Randhir entered the room after five minutes making her feel scared. She was feeling the same aggressive aura surrounding him which surrounded him years ago when they got married.
"I can explain", she spoke looking at him with guilt visible in her eyes. He just shook his head at her taking small yet predatory steps towards her.
"You are not understanding. I just don't want you to suffer", she spoke taking a step back stumbling with the bed sitting on it when she slipped. She looked up to find him closer to her disappointment and anger clear in his eyes.
"I told you already, Maya. What you are for me but you chose to play with my emotions? It shows how much you don't respect my feelings. How you are making fun of them? For the first time in my life I opened up about my feelings towards somebody but you chose to crush them", he spoke making her shake her head.
"I didn't make fun of anything", she tried to make him understand as he held her hair pulling them harshly making her shout only for his grip to loosen.
"This is what I hate. I shouldn't have ever loved you. This fucking feeling makes me so weak. One scream from your mouth makes me so fucking damn weak", he shouted making her flinch.
"Randhir Ahlawat is not weak", he concluded as his hazel eyes started getting darker.
"I gave you time. Time to accept me back but you want me to treat you the way I promised you initially right? That you will only have a small role in my life. Warming my bed and taking care of my kids. No more freedom", he spoke a matter of fact making her eyes wide as she couldn't see even a small amount of the person who cared for her these months.
It was the same man whom she married who only cared about his business and family who only cared for her because she was his wife and his responsibility not because of his feelings.
"NO", she whispered shaking her head.
"You wanted me to make distance from you then I'll make sure this distance prevails that I don't feel any single thing about you, that you remain my responsibility throughout my life nothing more than that. A mistake I committed in the initial stage of our marriage was loving you would be taken care of now", he concluded taking a few steps back withdrawing his hand away from her scalp when she held his hand as a tear trickled down her cheek.
"Please don't say this", She pleaded.
"You've not left any other way for me, Kimaya. I can't hurt you. That would be a disrespect of my love. I don't have any right on you anymore", he spoke as she shook her head again trying to hold his other hand which he withdrew before she could touch him. She looked at him with hurt clearly visible in her eyes.
