He followed her eyes fearfully looking at him. He sighed removing his belt properly as she started moving away.

"I am not a monster to do something like that. You already think too low about me and I don't blame you for that. It's my fault", he said making her look in his eyes with fear as he caught her hands and tied them with his belt making her frown. Then tying her legs with his tie.

"Why are you doing this to me? I didn't do anything wrong to you", she said as tears escaped her eyes not understanding why she was getting this much tortured.

He smiled caressing her cheek before wiping her tears.

"You never did any wrong. The only thing you did wrong was catching the eyes of a demon and then getting married to him", he told her caressing her wet cheek.

"Papa would not forgive you", she told him which made him smirk.

"You remember Maya, I used to tell you that power is very important for an individual. Your father must be a strong-willed man but he knows he is no better than me. And after knowing the reason why I did this, he can imagine the worse things which could've happened to you if I didn't push you away from me", Randhir spoke making her sniff.

"I don't deserve this", she cried struggling under the bondage.

"You pushed me to do this. You think I like my lioness like this", he asked making her cry.

"You are breaking me more. You are forcing me to hate you more than I already do", she told him as he nodded his head.

"I am okay with that. You already hate me now more or less doesn't matter to me. You are not getting rid of me not in this birth at least", he told her having passion and obsession evident in his eyes.

"Please let me go", she pleaded for the last time with teary eyes.

"I can't stay like this. It seems difficult to even breathe for me like this", she spoke looking around which was filled with their marriage, engagement, and couple pictures.

"Sleep, Maya, I have works to complete. Then you have all my time", he told her covering her with the blanket making her lie on the bed as she looked at him with pleading eyes. He kissed her forehead making her sob softly. 

"No more crying now, Maya", he said sternly making her gulp.

He wiped her tears again before walking to the door closing it softly.

She stared at the pictures in the room. They looked so happy in every picture. What had happened to them? He was forcing her to stay with him while she was looking for an escape. She cried when her eyes fall on their marriage picture where he was helping her walk down the stage holding her hand in a protective grip.

What had happened to them?

He came back only to find her sleeping. Her face was all red with her continuous crying. He sighed sitting beside her caressing her cheeks as she snuggled more in the warmth of his touch. A small sad smile came upon his lips. She was always so cuddly while sleeping. 

His eyes fall on the marks on her wrist because of the belt. He felt pained seeing the marks on her wrist.

He removed the bondages around her making her let out a breath. He sighed before lying beside her and taking her in his arms feeling her warmth after so long. He doesn't remember the last time when he slept this peacefully since the time she left.
