Kimaya was sitting on the rocking chair looking blankly in the darkness with her son being in her arms resting in her lap. She was lost in her thoughts while continuously patting his chest softly lulling him to sleep.
Can she really forget everything and have a new start in their life? She wasn't sure about it.
All she knew was the reason for her to stay here is her son. She will not lie, Randhir had been loving and caring towards her and their baby. He would check every single thing which may hurt them.
Their security was doubled. He won't appoint a new staff member anymore. He would make sure the person who is working for him can even give their life for his family.
She was dressed in a peacock blue net saree. After so long, she came up to love wearing sarees. Though she doesn't wear it that regularly but she would try. She sighed seeing the sleeping face of her son who was sleeping with his mouth slightly open.
He was just a twin of his father. The first time he opened his eyes after she woke up after the delivery, she couldn't help but tear up. His hazel eyes were so innocent looking back at her.
She stood up with him in his lap and made him sleep in his cradle patting his chest as he moved. A light sleeper like his father. She smiled at her thoughts.
She moved out of the room after covering him properly with his soft blanket. She looked back again to give a last look at him with a soft smile moving out of the room.
She got downstairs pushing her long hair on her left shoulder walking to the kitchen to make something for herself. She was slicing the fruits when she felt arms sneaking around her waist making her freeze at her place. He nuzzled his face in her neck.
"Just a moment", he whispered nibbling her earlobe as her hands shivered. She closed her eyes. After more than a year, he was touching her like this.
"I Love You", he whispered in her ears before nibbling on her shoulder making her grit her teeth to stop the moan. She couldn't give him that satisfaction.
"I need to cook", she said in a lower voice with the sweet torture he was doing to her skin. He sighed before taking a step back from her.
"I didn't know how badly was I missing the taste of your skin", he spoke stopping her immediately. He could see her body stiffen at his words.
He held her elbow turning her to him.
"Don't you miss my touch", he asked her as she continued looking down.
"I don't know what you are talking about", she told him in a hard voice trying to leave but he wasn't letting her go this easily. Not today at least.
"You know exactly what I am talking about", he said holding her chin making her look up at him.
"I need to check on, Avu", she said looking the other way. He smiled at her words pulling her closer to him.
"Check on his father as well sometimes", he teased wrapping his arms around her bare waist.
"You look beautiful", he said his eyes tracing her from her face to her feet then coming up again caressing her cheek.
"I need to cook", she told him feeling his hands just everywhere on her body where he could touch directly.
"Am I stopping you?", he asked kissing her neck only for her to jump as she heard crying from upstairs.
"Avu", she whispered moving away from him immediately running upstairs. He shook his head looking at her leaving quickly.
"My son is so very lucky", he whispered following her only to find Avyukt wrapping his arms around his mother's neck with tears rolling down his eyes.
