-IVORY

"Jade, I'm coming over I don't care what you say I need clothes for the party," I say quickly.

"What, slow down, I didn't get one word you just said," she laughed.

I repeated myself a bit pissed. I ran over to her house and we spent hours completely pulling apart her wardrobe. Until we finally found it, the perfect dress.

"Wow, I feel like a mother," Jade says.

"I wish you were my mother," I laugh as I roll my eyes.

"Your mom is seriously engaged to Gary?" She sits down.

"Yes, I need to tell her not to but, if I'm being honest, I feel bad she looks so happy," I explain.

"You have to tell her," she looks me in the eyes.

"I know," I say sulking.

"Ok, but on another note, I'm coming to the party too, right?" she laughs, trying to cheer me up.

"Duhhh,"

We go on laughing and dancing in her room for ages. My mom calls me and tells me to go home but I decided to sleep at Jades tonight. I don't want to go home today.

I couldn't concentrate in school at all today, all I could think about was the party later. I was counting down each hour till the party. I went straight to Jades after school and we started getting ready.

"Are you excited?" she asked me.

"Excited? I'm about to explode, he's going to collect me from here at 9, I'm sure he'll take you too" I tell her.

I put on my dress and Jade does my makeup and hair. I hate wearing makeup, I never look like myself but Jade did a perfect job, I look amazing.

When we were ready for the party, we took a few pictures together.

"You guys are invited to Remis party?"

"How did you guys get invited to Remis party?"

We got endless messages asking us about the party and I couldn't help but smile at the messages. I'm the girl he wants. He invited me to the party because he likes me.

I hear a car pull up in the driveway. I look out the window. A slick white car is waiting outside for us. I grab Jades arm and pull her down the stairs.

"Come on, you're so slow," I shout at her.

"Have fun girls, get drunk or whatever I don't care, just stay safe," Jades mom says. Jades mom is the most careless person I've ever met, sometimes I wish my mom was like that, but sometimes I wonder if I would like if I knew my mom didn't care much about me. Not that she really does.

We rushed out the door and Remi opened the passenger door for me. I step in and he closed the seatbelt onto me. He opens the door for Jade too. He's such a gentleman.

"Hold on, I drive fast," he shouts over the loud music playing on the radio.

We were driving way over the limit. We reached a red light and I felt the wheels skid against the ground. I stand up in my seat and stick my head out the roof. Adrenaline rushed through my veins as the wind blew strongly against me.

Jade stood up with me, we screamed our hearts out to the song on the radio. This is the life I've always wanted. I heard Remi laughing beside me. He pulled on my dress telling me to sit down.

"We are almost here, save your energy for the actual party," he tells me.

I sit back in my seat and smile. This is the way to live.

-REMI

We arrived at my house and I helped Ivory out of the car. I held her waist and she held my arm while we walked in. Everyone at the party was staring at us as we entered. Ivory put down her head, I could tell she didn't like the attention.

"Can we go somewhere with less people?" she asks me.

"Everywhere is going to be full of people," I explain.

We continue walking around for a while. My favorite song came on. I grabbed her hands and made her dance with me. She was so beautiful. For a moment it looked like she wasn't aware of anyone else around anymore.

"Remi, this your new girl?" a random girl asked me. She gave Ivory a dirty look.

"Yeah, she is. Why do you care?" I say proudly. Ivory looked away, I couldn't tell if I should have said that or not.

"Are you drunk?" Ivory asks me.

"I'm perfectly sober, just a little high, but I'm never not high so it's not a surprise,"

She smiles at me. I smile back and we continue dancing for a while. She pulls me to the middle of the dance floor. A circle forms around us as we dance like no one else is around. People cheer and clap all around us. I look around, not one other person in this crowd matters to me, just Ivory.

"My beautiful girlfriend everybody!" I shout out as the song finished.

A few girls in the crowd let out a sigh, and a few boys too. I didn't care though; I just want the best for Ivory. Some people gathered around us and Ivory seemed eager to talk.

"So, how did you manage to get Remi Richards to like you? He's like way out of your league."

"Clearly, Remi disagrees," she replies with a grin.

"Aren't you a little too confident, literally nobody knows who you are,"

"I mean my boyfriend is the most popular guy in the school I don't know why you think no one knows me, I think someone a little jealous no?" I love how sassy she is.

People continued to gather around us, Ivory seemed to be getting sick of it.

"I'm not used to this much attention can they all leave us alone now?" she tells me.

"Come with me to the bathroom," I tell her.

We run down to the bathroom, a few people chasing us down.

"FANS," we shout as we shut the bathroom door and lock it.

I sit her onto the sink and we lock eyes.

"You seem to get along well with my friends," I joke. She laughed.

"Yeah clearly." we laugh for a moment until I notice her staring at my lips. I put my hand on her cheek and she puts her hand on the back of my neck. As I start leaning in for the kiss, there's a knock on the door.

"Remi, I'm going to fucking kill you. If you don't get out of the bathroom Ill knock that door down and smash your head across the ground." It was Mykel. Fuck sake.

I put my hand onto Ivory's neck and pin her against the wall. I look into her eyes.

"Who is that?" she says concerned while still looking at my lips.

"Don't mind it," I tell her, I lean in for a kiss. I hear my father banging on the door. As Ivory was about to pull away, I held her neck tighter and continued kissing her. I felt her smile as we kissed. I won't let Mykel ruin this moment for me.

The door knocks down. Mykel rushes into the bathroom and pulls me away from Ivory.

"Ivory run," I scream at her. She leaves the bathroom. Now it was just me and Mykel.
