Ten

I wake up and roll out of bed. I let out a tired yawn and make my way towards the bathroom.

I walk into the bathroom and freeze when I see Vicki Donovan in there. I rub my eyes just to be sure I'm not seeing things.

"Sorry I'm almost done." She says while brushing her teeth.

"Okay..." I trail off. I walk out the bathroom and close the door. Did Jeremy and Vicki do it??? Eww...oh god that's gross.

I go in my room and change into shorts and a random shirt. I then run down the stairs and bump into Jenna.

"Jenna do you know what's going on upstairs..." I trail off.

"Yeah." She says sighing.

"No objections?" I say surprised.

"Yeah well...he could've at least tried to sneak her in. Oh and I won't be here for dinner tonight." Jenna reminds me.

"Ah yes. You have your date with Logan tonight." I say giving her a playful smirk.

I grab my phone and strap it to my arm. I woke up today and felt like going on a run, so that's what I'm gonna do.

"I'm going on a run!" I call out before walking out the house. I put my earbuds out and "Kiss me more" blasts in my ears.

I start running down the street. I run all the way past the Salvatore house then I suddenly freeze. I turn back around and run up to the Salvatore's front door.

I use the knocker to knock on the door. I pause my music and take my headphones out. I take a few deep breaths, trying to control my breathing. A few moments later Stefan opens the door.

"Ellie...why are you here?" He asks me with surprise on his face.

"I want to see how Damon's doing." I tell him. He opens the door wider and steps aside. I walk inside the house.

"In here." He says leading me to the basement. I walk with him all the way to the cell. I look through the cell window and see a pale Damon laying on the ground.

"Don't get too close." Stefan warns me. I nod my head.

"What are you doing to him?" I ask Stefan.

"In about a week he'll be a living corpse. We'll put him in the family crypt for about fifty years." Stefan tells me.

"Fifty years!" I exclaim. "That's a long time." That means I'd probably never get the chance to see Damon again.

I look over at Stefan and see he has a backpack on. "Are you going to school?" I ask him.

"Yep. I came for a normal life and that's what I'm going to get. I need to speak to Elena. That is if she's not ignoring me. Wanna come with me?" He asks me.

"She's not ignoring you. She still wants to talk to you. I would love to but I really do have to get home now. See you later!" I tell him. I run up the stairs and out the front door.

I can't help but have a feeling of guilt. Damon hurt Caroline. I should feel happy that he's getting what he deserves. But I don't. I just feel bad for him...

I walk down the school hallway. I spot Caroline and run up beside her.

"I want sexy. It's a fundraiser for god's sake." She says. I look at her and she doesn't even look like she remembers anything. She had to of been compelled to forget. But she's talking about the Sexy Suds fundraiser that's tomorrow. It's when then cheerleaders wash cars in bikinis. Of course Elena and I offered to help.
