I grab my backpack and run downstairs. I walk into the kitchen, where Jeremy resides, and grab a banana. I don't have time to make anything, so I'll just have this."Hurry up Jeremy, if you still want a ride," I tell Jeremy.
He grabs a banana too and follows me outside to my car.
"Oh snap...I forgot my history book," he tells me, heading back towards the house.
"Can you grab an extra pencil for me too!" I call out. I'm always loosing or giving away my pencils.
I put my backpack in the back seat and get into the drivers seat of my car. I put the key into the ignition and watch as Jeremy runs towards the car with his history book and pencil in hand.
He puts his stuff in the backseat too and jumps into the passenger side. Elena's already left earlier so it's just Jer and I.
"Okay...ready?" I ask him before pulling out the driveway. Jeremy nods and I put the car in reverse and begin making my way to the school.

I walk to lunch, when I hear Elena call out my name. I turn around and see her rush over towards me.
"Hey," she greets me. She clings onto my arm and we walk towards our usual table.
"What's up?" I ask her.
"Listen to this...remember when after we found out we were adopted, I asked Jenna to help me dig around for information about our mother?" She asks me.
"Our birth mother," I correct her.
"Yeah," she starts. She pulls a sticky note from out of her bag. "This is the address to an old friend of our birth mom. Her name is Trudie. And get this...our birth mom's name is Isobel. Well so is Alaric's late wife. She was murdered. I think that it's the same Isobel."
I sit there for a moment taking all this new information in. There's a possibility that our birth mother is dead...
"Where's Stefan at?" I ask her.
"Right here," Stefan says. He walks up behind Elena and sits next to her.
"Hey...how is he?" I ask Stefan.
"I'm not entirely sure," Stefan says, "why do you wanna know?"
"Because Damon is my friend. Who seemed to be very upset the other day. I know Damon...he's hurting right now so he's going to do something stupid," I admit to Stefan.
"That's true. I'll check up on him later. I have to ask him something either way," he responds.
"Thank you," I thank Stefan as I gather my stuff. "Elena...tell me when you want to do that thing okay?"
She nods at me before I walk back off toward the school.
I walk through the halls in the school and see Caroline.
"Caroline!" I call out. She turns around and half smiles at me.
"What's wrong?" I ask her once I approach her.
"I got a C on the math test. I thought I was going to do better," she admits with a frustrated sigh. "What did you get on it?"
"You don't wanna know..." I trail off.
"Yes I do."
"Okay then...I got an A on the test," I tell her with a sad smile.
She groans in frustration.
