I sit at the edge of the water. The waves of the beautiful blue ocean hit my feet. I look out at horizon and take in all the peacefulness.
"You look very relaxed right now." A familiar British voice says while sitting down next to me.
I look over at Klaus as he looks at me.
"I am very relaxed right now. For the first time in forever," I start, "I haven't had a good dream like this in a while."
"These aren't dreams you're experiencing. They're memories. My memories." He explains to me.
"I already knew that," I start, "I just don't know why I'm experiencing them."
"Oh you'll know soon enough, love."
"Will I?"
"In good time, love."
We both pause a moment and stare at into the horizon. This happens to be the first time I've gotten to talk with him. I don't understand what's happening, but it's so peaceful.
"So you know what's happening to me?"
"I do. It's my mother's doing, but you'll find out soon enough." Klaus says while standing up.
"Are you leaving?"
"I have to. I've got business to attend to, and you have to wake up." Klaus responds while walking away from me.
And I do wake up. Except this time, they're no tears or sweat or paralyzation. I am simply just waking up.

I get up from out of my bed and walk into the bathroom. This time I can't remember anything from my dream, only that it was peaceful.
I turn the water on and splash some on my face. I look up at my mirror and watch as the water droplets run down my face and onto my shirt.
I feel an eerie feeling crawling through my body. The hairs on the back of my neck stand up, and I turn around and look to see if somebody's watching me.
Of course when I turn around there's nobody there. I walk over to the shower and check behind the curtain. There's nobody there either.
I let out a sigh and return back over to the sink. I splash more water onto my face and then turn the faucet off. Except this time when I look in the mirror, there's a dark figure behind me.
I try to run out the bathroom but my assailant smashes my head into the wall and I'm out like a light.

I slowly open my eyes. I quickly realize that I'm in the motel room where Damon and I confronted Anna. I slowly sit up and massage my head. I can feel a headache forming.
I'm sitting on the motel bed and there's a man a few feet away from me, sleeping in a chair. I look over to my right and notice Elena knocked out cold next to me.
I take both of my hands and shake her awake, causing my head to explode in pain.
I wince and press my hand to my forehead. Thankfully Elena wakes up with a small gasp.
I put my finger to her lips, silencing her.
She looks past me and at the man sleeping in the chair. She slowly sits up and silently slides off the bed. She begins tip-toeing to the door.
I inch off the bed and try to follow her. Elena makes it to the door and begins silently unlocking the door.
"I wouldn't do that," a voice threatens. The man who was sleeping in the chair is now awake. He vamp speeds over to Elena and pins her against the door.
