Y/n's POV

"Oh, come on Minho! You know you can't do it without me!"

"Yes, I can, y/n. You need to stay here and let your leg heal up. And obviously, that shuck brain of yours needs to heal too if you think I'm going to let you come in that condition." He argues back. I glare at him. "Besides, Clint and Jeff said you were to stay here until until your leg is healed. Or something like that..."

"Minho, please! I need to go back out there!"

"No, not until your leg heals. Until then, you will be back being a Medjack. You are our best and you can still do that without over-exerting yourself too much."

"Fine," I grumble.

"Good." He turns to walk away.

"You're no fun." I mumble, turning away from him and grabbing my clothes.

Time Skip

As I sit in the Medjack hut, chatting with Clint and Jeff, I hear some kind of alarm start blaring.

"Come on, the new Greenie's coming up." Clint says with a smile. I immediately jump up, grabbing their hands and pull them outside, limping towards the box.

"Slow down there." Jeff laughs, being dragged behind me. Approaching the Box, I let go of their hands and wait anxiously for the Greenie's arrival. Newt comes up beside me as I lean against him, unable to control my excitement.

"Calm down there, y/n." He laughs. "If nothing else scares the poor Greenie, you definitely will." I laugh.

"I'm sorry, I just can't help it!" I hear the clanging of the Box as it approaches and I start flailing my arms around, making Newt laugh more. The Box opens to reveal a boy with a pile of brown curls on top his head and piercing brown eyes, looking like he is about to klunk himself. He couldn't have been more than twelve and was a chubby kid. Newt jumps into the Box, making me smile as I remember the day I came up.

Newt manages to convince the boy to stand up and eventually pulls him to his feet gently. I quickly help to throw a rope down, letting the others pull them out. Once they are out, Gally jumps into the Box to start unloading it and Alby orders everyone back to work. I groan, limping my way back to the Medjack hut. I wanted to meet the Greenie and help him settle in.

"Aww cheer up, y/n." Clint chuckles, giving me a playful shoulder bump, making me smile slightly. "You'll get to meet the Greenie. There's still the Tour, remember?"

"Yeah, right. Thanks Clint."

"Alright, now back to work!" He orders with a smile. I roll my eyes and get back to work.

The work day ends and I slowly make my way towards the Homestead.

"Y/n!" I hear Gally call. I turn to him, eyebrows raised. "This box came up for you." I gingerly take it, wondering what it could be.

"Thanks."

"So, I can count on you tonight, right?" He asks.

"Count on me? For what?" I ask, eyebrows furrowing.

"The fight circle, of course!" He exclaims, like it is the most obvious answer on earth.

"Oh. Um...Yeah." I say, a grin forming on my face. "Definitely!"

"Great!" He exclaims. "See you there!" He walks away.

"Yeah, see you!" I call, continuing towards the Homestead, quickly grabbing my other set of clothes and sitting on the edge of my hammock. (The boys had tried to persuade me to take a bedroom but after a week and a half of my resisting, they eventually gave up trying) Opening the box, I find a folded piece of paper with my name on it. Carefully unfolding it, I start to read the words flowing across the page:
