His eyes opened, he looked at her, and then he started sobbing.
She hasn't brushed her hair, but she didn't think it was that bad?
"I- I'm sorry" she stammered out.
He just kept sobbing. Emma stepped back from where Lewis was laying, he stood up, and he ran from the room.
Emma was beyond confused, but she understood. Lewis's brain had given him a factory reset, and he was likely a bit confused. Besides, she had heard tears were great for houseplants, and hers had been neglected recently.
Shuffling to the corner she picked up her Boston Fern (Nephrolepis exaltata), and turned to walk back to the puddle of tears. At least one thing would go well tonight.
