Emma reminded him of a papaya. She appeared to be a very interesting person on the outside, but was relatively hollow and slimy on the inside.
She was also veiny like a mint leaf, and he did not fancy her as a cow. He would not have eaten a taco made of Emma, even if it was beyond beef. Good thing she was restored. That was the only thing he had to thank that sexy bastard Lewis for.
Zane flapped his wings, and returned to his perch. He was currently taking an endangered birds nesting spot to watch over Lewis and Emma.
But mostly Lewis.
Lewis's hair was the color of a corn husk, and just as soft as the fibers on a sweet corn.
Emma's looked softer though, like silken tofu.
