Two weeks. It had been two weeks since Beomgyu had returned in time. The way Beomgyu's demeanor changed drastically alarmed everyone. He rejected all invitations to parties and tried to avoid all forms of physical interaction with only his closest friends, Yeonjun and Soobin, being the exception. People eventually grew worried for him but he denied all the concerns. He still hung out with his friends and acted dumb sometimes but something about him was just different. However, everyone decided to ignore it since Beomgyu had personally told them not to worry and that he was still the same as before. Even Hueningkai was concerned. Taehyun couldn't understand why Hueningkai had started paying attention to Beomgyu since he had always despised him for treating Taehyun so badly. He had asked Taehyun if Beomgyu was sick and told him to check on Beomgyu whenever they were at home, which he did and which Beomgyu had found it annoying and tried to push Taehyun away every time.

"Why are you suddenly worried for Beomgyu?" Taehyun had asked him once.

"Just because." Hueningkai replied and shrugged.

Taehyun had found it suspicious but disregarded it. His heart slightly clenched at the thought of Hueningkai and Beomgyu together.

Right now, Taehyun's main concern was Beomgyu's cut on his palm. It was Friday and they were both home after school. Taehyun had previously accidentally broke a lamp while cleaning and Taehyun was not even sure if he should be surprised or not at this point but Beomgyu wasn't mad at him. They had ordered another lamp and Beomgyu was cutting the packaging open with a blade cutter when cut his palm by accident. It wasn't a very serious cut which Taehyun wouldn't have cared but the thing was, Beomgyu wasn't bleeding, which freaked Taehyun out. Beomgyu quickly hid his hand behind his back and glanced at Taehyun.

"I will wash the blood off..." He said calmly as he stood up to leave to the bathroom.

"Let me see it" Taehyun looked at him and reached his hand out and waited for Beomgyu to show his hand to him.

"No, I'm fine." Beomgyu shook his head and tried to walk past him only to be stopped by Taehyun. Taehyun grabbed his wrist and was taken aback at how cold his skin felt. He released it on instinct and looked up at Beomgyu.

Beomgyu pulled his hand away and felt wetness on his palm. He lifted his hand up and showed it to Taehyun without hesitation, knowing that he had finally bled. His bleeding was delayed.

"Look, happy now?" Beomgyu's way of talking was still the same. A hint of annoyance could be heard and he sounded rude, even if he didn't mean it.

Taehyun nodded his head, not knowing what to say. There was indeed blood. He didn't want to admit it but maybe his eyes were playing tricks on him.

"Do you need me to help you to wrap your hand up?" Taehyun asked, feeling slightly guilty for doubting Beomgyu.

"No, I will be fine on my own."

Beomgyu brushed past Taehyun and headed to the bathroom. He looked down at his bleeding palm. He couldn't really feel much of the pain. He sighed and washed the blood off. It was quite a deep cut, though not deep enough to pose any threats. He cleaned his wound and tried to bandage his hand on his own. He returned to the living room after that.

Taehyun was setting up the lamp by himself when he saw a clumsily bandaged hand in the corner of his eyes. He looked up to meet with Beomgyu's uneasy eyes.
