It was Monday, meaning that they had the lecture together. Taehyun took his usual seat with Hueningkai and watched as the students start pouring into the lecture hall. He hated to admit it but he was anticipating Beomgyu. His brows furrowed when he saw Beomgyu's friends strolling in but with no sign of Beomgyu. His friends took the seats behind them, keeping a seat empty between them which Taehyun assumed was for Beomgyu. He must be running late. And sure enough, the door opened thirteen minutes into the lecture, revealing a messily dressed Beomgyu. His hair was poking out in in all directions and his black shirt was half tucked in. He apologised to the professor before scanning the hall for his friends. Their eyes met. Beomgyu couldn't look away. Taehyun's doe eyes were so alluring. A smile slowly crept onto his face, he was unable to control how happy he felt to see the younger. He promised himself that he would treasure every second he get to see Taehyun. Beomgyu held so much adoration towards Taehyun and it was evident in his eyes but Taehyun was oblivious to it. Taehyun quickly averted his gaze to Beomgyu's slight disappointment.

Beomgyu ran up the stairs and settled down on the seat his friends had saved for him.

"Isn't it your first time arriving late?" His friend, Yeonjun, remarked.

"Yeah, I overslept" Beomgyu simply replied.

Another friend of his, Soobin, giggled at his messy look and helped to fix his hair. Beomgyu smiled at his bunny-looking friend and thanked him. He was glad to see his university friends again. He had drifted apart from them ever since he started working before he turned back time. Travelling back in time had granted him with so many chances to mend his mistakes and he would grasped onto these opportunities this time. He wouldn't let them go again.

"He's lying" Hueningkai whispered to Taehyun. Hueningkai was always the best at catching lies. He could know immediately when someone was lying and Taehyun wondered how he was even able to tell.

"Oh really?" Taehyun turned to his friend.

Hueningkai had worry laced all over his face as he nodded which Taehyun had found it odd but didn't bother to question it.

"Taehyun-ah and Huening-ah, want to join us for lunch?" Soobin asked friendly when the lecture was over. They had been having lunch together ever since Beomgyu had asked Taehyun out for lunch that day. Both Beomgyu's friends and Hueningkai had grown closer with the short amount of time they had spent together. This couldn't be applied to Beomgyu and Taehyun though. They still felt distant. Taehyun seemed accepting towards Beomgyu on the outside but on the inside, it wasn't the same. He still disliked Beomgyu and he believed that it would remain the same, no matter what happens. Beomgyu would take the initiative to start a conversation sometimes but Taehyun would only give him cold and short replies which hurt Beomgyu but he never showed. He remained indifferent on the outside.

"Sure" Hueningkai quickly agreed and linked arms with Taehyun, dragging him along.

Hueningkai volunteered to buy drinks with Beomgyu once the group of friends had reached the campus' cafeteria. The rest went to find seats. Taehyun watched as Hueningkai spoke to Beomgyu. He saw the older constantly shaking his head at whatever Hueningkai had said. He then saw them exchanging contact details. Taehyun continued to observe their interaction. They seemed to be having a deep and serious conversation but he couldn't make out what they were talking about with just their mouth shapes. Seeing them close made his heart tighten.
