"You look gorgeous, Principessa." I rolled my eyes at David, and pouting my lips, applying the first and last coat of the red lipstick. Twirling in front of the mirror in my satin backless black sleeveless tea-length dress with a sweetheart neckline and silver heels marveled at my beauty. I wore my wrist-length black lace glove and, tucking the loose open locks in the back of my ear, I was ready.
"Can we leave?" He asked the umpteenth time now, and chuckling I nodded. "Whenever you want." He smirked, holding my hand and tugging me out of the place to the foyer where everyone was waiting for me. Getting ready is such a charade, I cannot handle it.
"You look gorgeous, sweetheart," Dad exclaimed hugging me as I appeared in front of them while Papa tugged me away from him to give his part of hugs. These both males are a kid sometimes.
I still remember after mom died, I hated and resented him so much but now, with Ethan I was able to cross that created barrier around me and enjoy their love and life's bliss.
"Shall we leave... Please," Allen grunted. He is the head guard who will be driving with Me and David today and with this prongloned chit-chat, it looks like he gave up on life itself. Chuckling I went to hug him and he returned the kind gesture as we then left the premises of our mansion for the banquet hall in the middle of the city.
Upon reaching, the place was a beautiful white antique building with many pillars around it. Stepping down with David as we both walked over the red carpet ignoring the flash from the camera and journalists murmurs.
Dad, Papa, David, and I entered the place to be greeted by the Aloysius family who came to us for the greetings.
"You look beautiful cara," Luca zio said and smiling I thanked him while Zia Dorothy pulled me in for a hug patting my back lovingly. "You look amazing, piccola ragazza." "Thanks."
Parting the adults engaged themselves into their concerning talks but my eyes went around to search for the man who shall stand beside me this evening. Excusing myself, I went around to find Ethan but wasn't able to. he was nowhere to be seen.
I went towards the inside of the hall. It was an eerie silence there with no one around. That appeared so ghostly.
"Scared, gem." I turned to look at him smiling as he stood with hands in his pocket. He looked dashing and extremely dark in his form-fitted black suit and white shirt paired with a grey and black check necktie.
"I thought you escaped to grab my cake." Chuckling with my hands on the back, I slowly moved towards him with mischief in my tone.
"It sounds like an invitation." He suggested wiggling his brows and I shook my head at his measly act. "You bet... I'm highly tempted with sweetness," I confirmed for him, and laughing he took longs strides, stopping in front of me and snaking his around my waist pulled me flushed against his chest.
I encircled my hands around his neck while he rested his on my exposed back. He growled moving his hands on my bare back and I giggled at his pretentious fierce act.
