60| I LOVE YOU

"What is all that, Hayden?" I asked him, a bit annoyed and more or less, giving him the license to finally go to an asylum. "Sweetheart, look at the babies... my little munchkins are so cute," he elatedly said, and I rolled my eyes.

"Hayden, I am warning you. If you wake the babies... I am putting you to sleep forever," I whisper yelled at him, annoyed.

Since my little baby boy and girl are born, this man is on another level now. They are just a week old. How the heck he can think of playing with them FOOTBALL???? And even Krystallo is on his father's side. Like seriously both father and son have gone crazy. 

"Hayden... dear husband... they are just a week old. Babies this little cannot show a lot of reactions. They just drink milk and sleep." His face faltered and sulking he went to the balcony. And, here I thought he would be of any help after they are born. Bloody scammer.

Cradling the babies a little as I lull them back to sleep, and walked to the balcony only to find him engrossed in a pile of files. The patio with the small bonfire burning in the marble encase gave a very warm air in the cold night. I felt so much happy feeling all this bliss. 

"Dadda... Mamma..." I rolled my eyes when Krystallo tip-toed inside and came running to his father. Both the male started their gossip and Hayden lawfully forgot that he needs to complete that paperwork before the weekend. This man slacks a lot if I don't put him under my watch.

This is the only reason why on the day of ultrasound for gender revelation, I straightly told to doctor... I fucking need a BABY GIRL...

"Hey, doctor... how are you?" I asked the doctor as with help of Hayden, I laid on the bed comfortably. She smiled at me, and slowly lifted my dress while Ethan helped her and covered my legs with a warm blanket.

"So, ready to know the gender of the baby?" She asked me, and I looked at Ethan who held a warm smile holding my hand tightly. "Can never be ready enough but yes... I really would want to know the baby's gender..." I said to her and then she applied the gel which now after the appointments doesn't seem so cold to me. She moved the transducer on my huge bulge and then the cute little babies appeared on the screen.

"So before telling you guys, you tell me... What do you both expect?" She asked and even without looking at each other we both almost shouted. "GIRL." She chuckled at our proactive gesture and then proceeded to ask our reasons as well.

"Why don't you want a boy?" She asked. "Not in another lifetime knowing my whole life is wrapped around men only. From birth to my adulthood, I'm fucking taking these burdensome men on my shoulder. No girl... literally no girl is in my vision right now other than my niece and sister-in-law... Adrian seems to be willing to not return from his trip and now with two brothers, one son and one husband..." I breathed when Hayden cocked his brow over my 'one husband' statement, and silently talked with his eyes, 'are you planning another... not even over my dead body.' Before I could really reply in words, the doctor started chuckling at me and I was red with embarrassment.

"And what is your reason, Mr. Reid?" He looked at me in response to her question. "I want someone like her, to protect and love. Someone so amazing as her mother." He said planting a kiss on my forehead and I blushed now.

"Well then, it was really some expectations but there is a twist in this one... you are pregnant with a baby girl and a boy." I was really about to jump knowing that at least one girl is there. "I am so happy... and truthfully all male of this family is staying away from my boy. I don't want him to become like anyone of you. So, you all are staying away except Krystallo, he can be an exception..." I really threatened the man and gulping he hastily nodded...

I still laugh remembering the moment.

Walking up to Hayden, I sat beside him over the couch placed in our capacious balcony, and then leaning on his shoulder I closed my eyes while I tangled my feet with his resting on the coffee table. He placed a chaste kiss over my forehead while playing with Krystallo who was seated on his other thigh, I even don't know half the time what he and sugarplum do apart from their 'job.'  He started early training for Krystallo but not hard one, we're taking it slow for him.

"Hayden," I called him still my eyes closed and he hummed in response. "I really love you..." he chuckled a little as I heard him and our son giggling and then soon enough, Krystallo's voice came as he ran to the balustrade, god knows what to see. When sugarplum was away he pulled me over his lap kissing my nose tip and pecking my lips, I giggled at his snobbish act and now, stared right in his warn sapphire orbs that wiped away my every tension.

"Are we going to picnic tomorrow?" I asked, confirming his promise as he told me about creating family traditions with kids and that's when we both came up with a picnic idea just a few seconds before I was about to enter the delivery room. Since the kids are too young right now, we found it safe to just lie around in the beautiful garden he bought on the same day, while I was giving birth to the babies. That was the most hilarious part of the day because Adrian recorded his freaking reaction as I shouted in pain in the delivery room and he was on verge of crying while selecting the garden ordering Maria to buy it.

"Can I get a sweet kiss in return for the amazing plan we set up for our family?" he asked pulling me close to his lips and I nodded leaning into his face as he closed his eyes and just when our lips were about to meet, the babies started crying and our forehead crashed instead making us groan. I laughed so he does as he mumbled, "little romance killers."

"Dadda, babies are crying." Sugarplum rushed inside screaming and I rolled my eyes. And now we're parents to three. It won't be easy.

We both went inside and Hayden picked up Aphrodite, and James in each of his hands as I helped him so and we both cradled them. I cannot hold my own babies for longer than a minute or two because of the pain in my hand and Hayden since the birth of them doing everything for Aphrodite and James on my behalf as well. Krystallo takes care of his little siblings too, while I assist him in doing that. I can never be proud enough of my boys cause they become my ability to suffice every incapability I have. 

Standing in front of him and stroking the head of James and Aphrodite simultaneously as they slowly started drifting to sleep, Krystallo circled around the crib with a toy he magically found from somewhere, I looked at Hayden who smiled down at me. We looked at Krystallo and then a quick glance fell on our twins and then we stared into each other's eyes again.

"I love you."

"I love you." 

Saying in unison we kissed keeping a distance so the babies won't suffocate.

I don't know what a perfect happy ending is, but if this moment is what it means then I'm glad I survived to this day and proud that I committed a crime of love, where he was a hunter after a female predator. Both equally blessed to shatter the world with their thunder.
