(Y/n) clasped her hands in front of her, rocking back and forth on the balls of her feet. She had a plain navy dress with sleeves that reached her elbows and a skirt which reached her knees. She had an over-the-top red bow in her hair and matching red flats. She held a sewed black cat plushy in her arms and a red (empty) walkman around her wrist. She initially had considered bringing a fake broom as a prop but decided against it under the possibility that she got scolded.

(Y/n) had lost Cho and was currently panicking because of it. She opted to bring her camera, which was sitting safely in the orange bag (Y/n) had on.

"Cute," Blair sang, stopping beside (Y/n). She wore a fifties-inspired dress."Who are you supposed to be?"

"Kiki."

"...from?"

"Kiki's Delivery Service."

"Even cuter," Blair muses.

"Have you seen Cho?" (Y/n) asked.

"I'm afraid not." Blair frowned. "But... let's see..." she trailed off. "The twins are doing the carnival games... Oh! There's Cedric. And... who else do I know that you know? Katie? Would Katie come to something like this?"

"Maybe," (Y/n) mumbled.

"Hm... what about Angelina and Alicia? They just joined the twins. And another! Let's see... what was his name again?"

"Are you talking about Lee?"

"Lee! That's it! Go to them. At least you won't be alone."

"I guess you are right," (Y/n) murmured. Very slowly, she walked towards the group.

"(Y/n)!" Angelina greeted with a bright smile. "There! Now our teams are even!"

"Teams?"

"We're going against the boys to see who can win the most games," Alicia explained. "Lee, Fred, and George are a team, and that leaves us three."

"I think it's unfair to have us up against two chasers," George said bitterly.

"We'll live," Fred answered. "Speaking of games, did you see our game a couple weeks ago?" They looked expectantly at (Y/n).

"Slytherin absolutely obliterated you," (Y/n) replies.

"It's because I wasn't playing!" Alicia announced. "If I wasn't just stand-in, we would've had a chance!"

"I don't doubt it!" Angelina agreed. "But the Slytherin team has their own slithering tricks. Cheats, if you will. We stand no chance either way."

"Adrian's decent," (Y/n) objected. The team eyed her curiously.

"He's a Slytherin," George said. "I can assure you he'd insult you before you even got your name out."

"That's just wrong!" (Y/n) replied. "As I said, he's decent! He does get a disgusted look whenever we have tutoring together, but if you look past that—"

"If you look past that: nothing," Fred interrupted. "Are you a Pure-blood Supremacist, (Y/n)?"

"Fred!" Angelina gasped.

"A what?"

"Muggle-born, I bloody told you guys!" George cheered.

"Just because she doesn't know what Pure-blood supremacy is, doesn't make her Muggle-born!" Alicia objected. "But seriously, your parents are absolute saints if you aren't Muggle-born and don't know what Pure-blood supremacy is." (Y/n) had a blank smile.

"I like your costume," Lee whispered to (Y/n) as they walked to their first game.

"Thank you," (Y/n) replied, beaming. They watched as George managed to make two beanbags into the five total holes there was, Fred got close to winning but failed his last throw, Angelina made three holes, and Alicia also got close. Lee hesitantly stepped forward. He had made three holes. (Y/n) gave her two tickets needed for the game. She accepted the six beanbags and stepped to the taped x on the floor. She managed to make all four of her first tosses with two remaining beanbags. She missed the fifth bag, for it landed just barely in front of the hole. Then she threw the final one without a second guess. It hit the board and slid up before it hit the previous beanbag, knocking it into the hole. Alicia and Angelina cheer as the boys moped.
