"Yes? Hi," (Y/n) greeted, very reluctantly approaching the twins."Sit, sit," Fred insisted, motioning to the chair in between them. (Y/n) hesitantly did so.
"A little birdy told us you sent Snape a Howler," George began.
"Katie?"
"Well, yes," George confirmed, "but that's beside the point."
"And what is the point?"
"We're getting to that," Fred huffed. "(Y/n), just what lengths would you go to pull a prank?"
"Well... as long as I'm not breaking a school rule, I'll do it," (Y/n) said at length. "And I'll also involve the school rules to pull a prank. You know, change someone's uniform colours and feign innocence by claiming we were practising Transfiguration and they got in my way." Fred and George shared a Cheshire grin, making (Y/n) nervous.
"In that case, we need your help," Fred stated. He brought out an empty piece of parchment paper. "This is a map," he informed. "And last year, it was kind enough to let us use it, but now we need some form of password for it!" (Y/n) plucked the paper from him.
"What we're getting at," George said.
"Is that if you can figure it out," Fred continued.
"We're willing to share the map with you," the two chorused.
"What's in it for me?" (Y/n) asked, unfolding the paper and revealing it blank.
"Well, you get a map of the entire school. Short cuts, secret passages, hidden rooms, the gist of it," Fred explained.
"And we noticed that peoples' locations are shown on it," George said.
"We?"
"I noticed," George corrected, giving his twin a look. "Quite helpful if you need something for someone and don't want to ask around, no?"
"Hm... I guess you're right..." (Y/n) agreed. "All right, I'll get to it and update you with how far I get," she agreed. Fred and George quietly cheered. "What's it called?"
"The Marauder's Map."
"—and for that, I find it stupid that I can't officially join clubs until my third year," (Y/n) finished her rambling to Lee Jordan, who nodded along.
"It's more so the pins that you don't get," Lee said. "You're still in the club, but not seen as a member, if I'm not mistaken."
"Exactly!" (Y/n) said. "What's the point of being in a club if I can't proudly show off my pins?" Lee grinned. "I feel the same with blue ribbons. I get them, but for what? Only my roommates see them," she sighed. (Y/n) currently wore some Ravenclaw accessories she had acquired. She had a blue sweater that she embroidered the Ravenclaw House Crest on. She tucked it into a white corduroy button-up skirt and held a blue and bronze Ravenclaw flag in her hands.
Similar to (Y/n), Lee had his own House merch. He had grey sweatpants with his House name embroidered on the side (via (Y/n)). He had a red sweater to match it. And he lazily waved his red and gold Gryffindor flag."I do hope any competition will be friendly, you two," Professor McGonagall said when the two came into sight.
"Of course, Prof," Lee said dismissively. Professor McGonagall gave Lee a look as they went up to join Tonks.
"I know absolutely none of the Ravenclaws playing today," (Y/n) said, "but it feels wrong not supporting my House." Lee snickered, taking his seat. "Either way I'll be cheering on the few people that I know."
