"Princess? Rapunzel?"
"HUh? I don't know who you are but I'm not Rapunzel, I'm Cash-" Cassandra smiled dizzily, lying on the floor.
"Cash? But, uh, Princess you can't be cash... I mean you are valuable like cash to the kingdom but still, this topic is- awkward," Replied Varian, playing with his fingers nervously as Cassandra shot off the floor like a bullet.
"Sorry- uh, I meant to say that my name was- Shash. That's Right! When I was younger my pet name was Shash, a-totally-not-made-up-name, believe me!" Cassandra gave a low chuckle, she hoped Varian won't take Rapunzel as weird because of her.
"Oh-kay, I guess. Btw Rapunzel, I was thinking about going out with Cassie today... any idea where she is?" asked Varian.
"Well you see Varian, she's uh sick-"
"Sick?! How come no one told me about that??"
"Varian calm down, she's just got a slight fever.."
"I heard about those types of fevers... did you know that there's a sickness going on which make people get worms in their brains? I wonder whether Cassie has got it"
"Actually her grandmother's sick, and Cass thought it would be a good idea to go and visit her" Cassandra added quickly, not wanting to have worms in her brain.
"Cap has a mum?"
"Ya, I mean how did you think he was born? He fell from the sky?"
"Funny, actually I was really hoping to meet Cassie, you see I was planning to, you know, kinda take her for a date- but... not that I expected her to say yes anyway," said Varian with a low smile.
"Hey, Cass wouldn't say no to you, she can't resist your eyes mostly cause they're big and blue and cute- And as I was saying you need to improve your flirting with her btw," Cassandra replied, getting a grip of herself.
"If only that was true" sighed Varian choosing to ignore the flirting feedback, "I guess I'd head back underground... all alone" he added packing his bag and heading towards the door.
"Wait- Perhaps we two could go out, you know as friends?" asked Cassandra feeling sorry for the kid.
"Thanks, Rapunzel, you're a mood saver" Varian cheered, before hugging Rapunzel and leaving the room whistling.
