4. The sleepover

Sunday – 25th of April 2021 (night time)

The Italian has always felt at home at the American's house. It had a very modern but homy and cozy feeling to it. It was mostly white with hints of color from the couch, the plants and the art that hung on the walls. Danielle had already bought Jeff a dog bed and toy basket last year which came in handy since Jeff would be staying with her for a while. They were soon greeted by the cute fluffball who instantly walked over to the blonde as she was crouching down to pet her. "Excuse you Jeff, just because you're going to be staying with your bonus mama doesn't mean you can just forget about me," Stefania said in a high pitched tone while pouting and shaking her head in disappointment. "Ahh Jeff, I think your mom's jealous of us, go say hi to her so that she's not going to terrorize us tonight," Danielle responded while laughing and gesturing for the fluffball to head to Stefania who quickly obliged as Stefania sat down on the ground to hug her dog.

Danielle walked over to the kitchen while Stefania was still sitting on the ground. "Do you want a drink?" she asked, to which she got a reply saying "Yes please, just a soda though". As she was getting the sodas for the two of them, she heard her own stomach rumble. A cheese platter would do she thought to herself, knowing that Stefania loved this as well. Meanwhile Stefania had settled down on the couch with Jeff laying next to her. "Here you go," Danielle said handing her the soda while putting the cheese platter down on the table in front of them. "This looks so good, thank you," she replied while taking some cheese and a cracker from the plate. Danielle sat down on the couch while Jeff was laying down in the middle. Both looked at the fluffball and just laughed while Stefania started talking about her feelings on the ending of another season. "I'm so excited for the fans to see the Marina wedding. It was such a beautiful wedding. What do you think is going to happen next season?" she asked.

Danielle's mind wondered off to the wedding scene and the feeling she felt while kissing Carina. Or Stefania? She didn't quite know and for some reason it made her quite anxious. Maybe it was the little amount of alcohol that was still running through her veins. Or maybe it was the fact that she was going to miss Stefania more than she should. Even now she was missing the Italian while she was sitting right next to her. Not quite next to her she thought since Jeff was laying in between them. She noticed Stefania glancing over at her, assuming to check if she was okay since she was taking a while to answer. She looked up to the brunette's eyes and gave her a small smile while trying to lift Jeff up so she could put her on her lap. She just wanted to hug Stefania but was too anxious to ask or go in for a hug so Jeff was the next best opportunity. Jeff woke up but didn't seem to mind the action from the blonde as she happily fell back asleep again in her lap.

"What is it Danielle? What's going on in that beautiful mind of yours?", Stefania asked with concern lacing her voice. Since Jeff moved to Danielle's lap, she decided to move a bit closer still keeping enough distance so they weren't touching. "It's nothing. I think it's just the alcohol that's making me a bit emotional. I'm excited for the fans to see it too", trying to disguise her true thoughts that she didn't dare sharing with the Italian. If she would, she would probably scare Stefania away. Stefania could see that Danielle was holding something back but decided to let it slide. She put her hand on her arm asking "do you just wanna head to bed? It's already 1.30,". Danielle was tired but she didn't want to be alone. "Only if Jeff can sleep with me," she responded while pouting her lips and giving her puppy eyes. "Na-ahh, Jeff always sleeps with me," Stefania responded. "How about we play a little game, see who Jeff wants to sleep with?", she daringly responded back. Stefania was confident she would win this game, so she was all in. "Don't come crying to me cause you're gonna lose Savre" she said with an evil laugh. "We'll see about that ms. Spampinato," Danielle responded back, flexing her arms trying to intimidate the Italian.

Both women were in their respective bedrooms while Jeff was made to sit in the hallway. She was a very good girl, patiently waiting. Though she was probably just confused by what was going on and was content just lying on the floor in the hallway. Danielle started counting down "3..2..1..". Both started to scream for Jeff confusing the poor dog. "Jeff, jeff come to your mama," Stefania said while Danielle said "Jeff, babygirl come to me,". To both of their surprise, Jeff walked over to Danielle, Stefania clearly hurt by Jeff's actions. "Who's crying now ms. Spampinato?" Danielle said while stucking her tongue out like a little child. Stefania was having difficulty by keeping her laugh to herself since she found Danielle to be quite endearing. Danielle closed the door with Jeff already laying on her bed.

The Italian was taken aback by the American's action and just burst into her room. Danielle was already lying in bed, smirking up at the beautiful woman in front of her. "Yes, what is that you want?", she asked while petting the fluffball lying next to her. Stefania just stood there rolling her eyes and sighing at the same time, deciding what she wanted to say or do next. You see, Stefania didn't want to be alone either but it wasn't necessarily Jeff that she would miss because Jeff didn't always sleep in her bed. She wouldn't be opposed to sleeping next to the gorgeous blonde. Stefania was getting lost in the beautiful blue eyes in front of her. Danielle was watching expectantly, still waiting for an answer as to what Stefania wanted. Stefania opted for a playful reply, "I thought it was a 'just us' sleepover?" she said with a playful smile. She saw Danielle's cheeks turn red as she pulled the covers up to cover her face more while looking at her expectantly. She patted the room next to her which Stefania eagerly responded by walking over to the bed and getting in underneath the covers as she was already changed in her pajamas.

Jeff repositioned herself between the legs of both women so naturally the two women moved a bit closer to each other, lying on their backs. The comfortable silence was broken by Stefania, "I do hope you know that I did not forget about the surprise you were talking about," she said while turning her head to face the blonde. "If you're so impatient, you might not even get your surprise," Danielle said smirking, knowing full well that she was telling a complete lie. In all honesty, Danielle could not wait to gift her the surprise, though she was nervous for her reading a specific note. Stefania threw her head back into the pillow, laughing because she knew Danielle was lying as well. "You have to promise me to send some pictures of my baby," Stefania said while gesturing to her baby that lay between their legs. "Of course, maybe I'll even send some pictures of us together," Danielle said daringly while turning the other way to go to sleep. Stefania smiled at the idea of getting pictures of her favorite American and her baby.

"Goodnight, Danielle," she said while facing the other way. "Hey, you said you wanted cuddle time so come give me some cuddles", Danielle responded still facing the other way as she scared herself by saying that out loud. The familiar feeling of something warm in Stefania's stomach made a reappearance, something she could not wrap her finger around. She moved closer to blonde laying in front of her as she put her arm around the blonde. Stefania's head was now resting on the blonde's pillow. Danielle, not so subtly, moved back a bit so their bodies were morphed into one as they both drifted off to sleep. One of the best sleeps they had ever had.

Wasn't going to post anything but since I have 'extra time on my hands' with a night shift that I have to stay awake for, for a while, I figured I would write more chapters. Hope you enjoy!
