The beginning of the interview had gone well as the entire cast joined.

"Alright, guys, I have one more question, and then we'll get into the game part of this interview," The women's voice comes across the computer to the entire cast.

"This question is for Alyssa and Drew," She says, causing the two to tense up because this question had not been on the email sent to them previously. The rest of the cast seems to smirk, already knowing what this question will be about.

"So, are you two a thing? We see your posts and clear you're quarantining together," She asks. Alyssa feels butterflies in her stomach thinking about others noticing as well, but they quickly disappear as Drew speaks up, answering the question.

"No! we're not a thing, just friends. And we're all quarantining together, so we don't have to be alone and go crazy," he says confidently. Alyssa just nods her head and smiles.

"Drew is a great guy but not my type, guys! Don't worry; he's still single," She says, trying to fake a laugh. The rest of the interview is filled with heavy tension between the two as Alyssa just prays for the interview to be over. They play a game where they need to split into teams, and Alyssa instantly calls being teammates with JD. Drew hides his emotions and switches seats with JD so they can complete the game. As soon as the interview is over, Alyssa stands up and runs to the bathroom.

"Stupid stupid again," She whispers to herself as she holds back tears. As she is talking to herself in the mirror, trying to calm herself down, she feels her phone vibrate and quickly pulls it out.

A new text message from: Mads Bailey

Mads: girl, that was cold. Are you okay?

Alyssa: No, haha, he was just so emotionless and didn't care at all wtf was that?

Mads: idk, maybe he's just scared of his feelings, but it was awful and definitely embarrassing for you. I wish we weren't stuck in quarantine so I could come to hang out with you.

Alyssa: we should've just quarantined together bro. this sucks like what am I supposed to do now?

Mads: make him feel your pain. Don't sleep with him. Ask Austin if you can stay in his room and just avoid Drew at all costs. Maybe he'll stop being stupid and realize he was an asshole.

Alyssa: probably not, but good idea. I'm going to text Austin. Thank you for checking in, girl miss hanging out with you.

Mads: always, miss you 2 see you in a week

New text to: Austin

Alyssa: hey, could I possibly sleep in your bed for the rest of the week?

Austin: of course, everything okay?

Alyssa: no, but you're best friends with Drew, so I don't want to get into it but thank you

Austin: there's something there. idk why he denies it, Alyssa. I saw it clearly with my own two eyes.

Alyssa: it's whatever. Thanks again.

The girl locks her phone, sighs, and leaves the bathroom. She quickly checks that the coast is clear and runs to Drew's room to grab her suitcase and everything else of hers. She opens Austin's door and shuts it behind her instantly.

She locks the door and sets her stuff down on the ground randomly. Crawling into Austin's bed, she tries to ignore the pit in her stomach and the want to cry. A few minutes go by, and there's a knock on the door.

"Lyss?" She makes the voice out to be Drew. She ignores his call and sighs, hoping he'll go away. A few seconds go by, and the doorknob shakes as if someone is trying to open the door.

"Lyss, why are you locked in Austin's room? What's wrong?" Drew asks once again, sounding concerned.

"I'm fine. Go away," She says, not wanting to talk to him.

"Let me in," he demands, but she just ignores him and covers her ears with a pillow, hoping that the boy goes away.
