The morning rolled around quickly as the alarm abruptly awoke the two Alyssa had set the previous night. They both groan as Drew turns over, reaching around the girl to turn off the alarm. As he settles back into the mattress, he takes notice of some loose hair around her face. He brushes it behind her ear as her eyes flutter and slowly open, looking up at him. They both smile towards each other tiredly.
"Good morning," She speaks out first.
"Can we stay in bed forever?" Drew asks as he kisses her forehead, causing her to smile.
"Nope, it's Barbados day!" She says, still half asleep, causing Drew to laugh. The girl sits up in bed and rubs her eyes, grabbing her phone to check the time. As her phone lights up, she reads the time of 4:25 am.
"We need to get ready now, Drew," She says, trying to get up as his arms tighten around her waist.
"Five more minutes Lyss," He begs, but she shakes her head.
"We will not be late because we won't hear the end of it," She reasons, getting up as he releases his grip. Alyssa walks into the bathroom, using it and brushing her teeth as Drew joins in after a few minutes to start getting ready.
"You look cute, all sleepy," She says, admiring his bed head and tired eyes. He instantly smiles and walks closer to her.
"Nothing compared to you. You're beautiful," He compliments her back, causing her cheeks to heat up as she puts her head in his chest, hiding her face.
~skip the two getting ready and the drive to the airport~
As the two get dropped off at the front of the airport from their uber, Alyssa checks her phone to see if anybody else in the cast is at the airport yet.
New text message from: OBX Barbados Fam
Lyss: Anybody at the airport yet? Drew and I just got out of the uber. We're at gate C, close to the entrance.
Stokes: Maddy, Bails & I are 5 minutes out. Could you wait for us?
JD: Rudy & I are literally getting out of our Uber at gate B. We'll walk down to meet up.
Alyssa reads the texts off to Drew as they sit on a bench waiting for their castmates. A couple of minutes go by, and Drew nudges, Alyssa, noticing JD and Rudy. Drew waves them over as the two boys see them and sleepily walk towards them.
"Good morning," Alyssa chirps to the two tired boys.
"Why are you so happy right now? It's five in the morning," Rudy groans as Alyssa and Drew chuckle.
"The sun isn't even out," JD chimed in, also groaning.
"Guys, we're going to the fucking Bahamas," She says excitedly. They brush her off, and the four wait around for the other three to join them. Once they're all together, they start making their way through the airport, and they make it through all the checkpoints decently fast because of how early it is in the morning. Once they make it to their gate, they have twenty minutes until their flight boards.
The group gathers around a sitting area and talks while some start falling asleep. Alyssa is one to fall asleep as she puts her head on Drew's shoulder, cuddling into him. Eventually, the flight attendant begins boarding as the group gets ready, composing themselves.
Drew and Alyssa sit next to each other, Alyssa grabbing the window seat. The rest of the cast is spread out throughout the plane but are still close to each other. Alyssa decides to take a selfie of her and Drew real quick and posts it on his Instagram story

She smiles at the cute picture and posts it. She watches as Drew gets his phone out and reposts onto his story, making her smile. Once the plane takes off, Alyssa instantly falls asleep, cuddled into Drew's side comfortably.
