Chapter 4

11:45 a.m.

Drew pulls into an empty spot and puts his car into park. We both take off our seatbelts and get out of the car collecting our belongings. I follow him as he seems to know where he is going.

"I'm assuming this is the same place you did table reads for season one"?" I aks laughing as he doesn't hesitate to walk right into the building, taking several terms.

"Yep, I know this place like the back of my hand now. I'll show you around when there's some free time later," He responds and I nod smiling. We walk to a door that is labeled 

SEASON TWO OBX TABLE READ

I snap a picture of the sign real quick as Drew opens the door and holds it for me. I smile and nod thanking him as I walk in first. I look up to see Jonathon and Rudy already here. I smile and wave to them as they look up to the two of us. I notice name cards are placed all around a huge square table and look for mine.

"Your sit next to Drew and Austin," Jonathan says once he sees me looking. I follow Drew as he sits down and I sit in the seat next to him, which is across from Rudy and Jonathan.

"So how do you feel after last night?" Rudy asks almost like he's trying not to laugh.

"I actually feel pretty good thanks for asking," I say and laugh. He nods his head impressed and the four of us make small talk as the rest of the cast begins piling in.

"Hey Alyssa, guess I'm next to you for table reads this season," Austin says and smiles as he comes in and sits down.

"Guess so huh," I say and smile towards him. 

Once it's a little past twelve and the entire cast is here around the table, Jonas comes in and greets everyone. He gives a speech and is just amazingly welcoming to me which I'm thankful for.

"Alright so basically we're just going to get started right with the first episode. I'm hoping to get through at least half of the episode and then tomorrow we can finish the rest," Jonas instructs. We all nod in unison. I get my script out of my backpack and start to feel nervous. As I set my packet on the table I look to Drew and see him looking at me already. I smile and he turns his head slightly sideways.

"You good?" He whispers. I nod my head and smile again, reassuring him. 

"and action," Jonas says once we all collectively agree we are ready.

"To john B," Rudy says. "and to Sarah," Bailey adds. 

"Alright Chase you can read over your voiceover if you want so you can get a feel for it," Jonas suggests to which Chase nods and begins talking.

"Here's a fun fact... You ready?... Here we go... Everyone you know will die. And by everyone, I mean everyone. You're mother, brother, sister, father. All of your friends, and all of your enemies. Everyone." Chase reads.

We continue to move along in the script passing through Sheriff Peterkin's funeral moving onto the scene where the pogues are spray painting on the Cameron's fence. This is my first scene and my nerves start to kick in.

"Okay I'm not sure but I definitely think they can see us from up there," JD reads.

"Who cares, should be glad I'm not setting the house on fire," Bailey reads.

"She's got a point, Pope, this is harmless compared to what Rafe has done," I add, smiling once I get through it. I look over to Jonathan and he gives me a thumbs up causing me to smile and shake my head looking down.
