Val slumps to the floor. He is panting for breath. A strong orange smell lingers in the air. His body is burning up. His drenched back sweats a lot like he's been showering.
Jerome has been following him. He squats to check on him. His mind is a bit dizzy.
The Omega pheromone is too strong. It's affecting his judgment.
"Val, did you bring inhibitor? Val?"
It takes him few minutes for respond. Val shakes his head. He run out of them few days ago.
"Val, can I mark you?"
Jerome bites his lips and he could feel blood. It's his only way to keep sanity.
Val nods his head. Jerome lowers his head and bites at his gland. Val hisses.
Bamboo scent pheromone rushes into his gland. It mixed with the orange pheromone.
Jerome hugs Val from behind while giving him temporary mark. Val whimpers a lot in his embrace.
Ross grits his teeth. He is going to punch Jerome. One look to Val's pale face changes his mind. He could crush Jerome later. Not now.
He leaves the spot with heavy feet. He hits the wall in his rage. He met Val first. Why Jerome is the lucky one?
Temporary mark finally ends.
Jerome lifts unconscious Val and carries him back to gather with others.
Ross is glaring at him like a hurt lion. Or more like a fire breathing dragon.
Darth smirks. His smile seems to send a message, "you're dead."
Jerome ignores them. He puts Val down on a couch. Val unconsciously holds his hand when Jerome tries to walk away. He has no choice but to sit down. Val is using his lap as a pillow.
After the mark, an Omega will be dependent on his Alpha.
Jessie calls, "I suggest Jerome stay here with Val. The others continue to clean up the zombies. Collecting foods and other stuffs."
Darth and Ross look at each others. They are reluctant to let Val in Jerome's embrace.
Jessie glares at them.
She warns, "We can't dilly-dally here all day long."
Ross sighs. He is unwilling to let Val go to Jerome.
Darth snorts. It's just a temporary mark. It will be cleared in few months. When it's over, he will claim this Omega. Permanent mark.
Both Alphas have bad relationship. Jessie decides to go with Darth to keep an eye of him.
She asks, "Are you okay going alone? Or you could come with us..."
"I'm fine. Go and get back soon," comments Ross.
Jessie is stronger than your average girl. She has common sense, perfect to handle a ruffian like Darth.
"Okay. Watch your back."
They split up to clean up more zombies.
