Thanks for reading!!! Okay, for the beginning of this chapter, i have rewinded the story a bit. When seth's pov starts, violet had just left the room so seth and mason were alone. Also, I am going to start putting the story in paragraphs!

---------------------------------------------------------

Seth's POV

Violet left the room, and I was left alone with Mason. He still had that annoying smirk on his face. For some reason, this only fueled my boiling anger for him. I hated how he was flirting with Violet. He KNEW I was going out with her. I'd made that very clear. And yet, he hadn't let up, continuing to call her babe and sitting next to her every chance he could get. And how could I forget the way he always interrupted us when we were having private moments.

I gritted my teeth, taking a breath, trying to calm myself down. I decided to cut straight to the chase. "Stop flirting with my girlfriend." I growled at Mason. "Oh come one man. You two couldn't have been going out for very long." Mason whined, giving me a pouting look. "Yeah, but Violet is different from any other girl I've ever dated before." I argued. "I really like her, and if you mess up my another one of my relationships, so help me I will-" Mason cut me off, protesting. "That was only once. And you told me that you didn't like Cindy that much anyway!" Painful memories started flowing back into my head, but I quickly pushed them away. "Yeah, that still dosen't make it okay to take my girlfriend!" I yelled at him. He shrunk back a little, but kept eye contact with me. He didn't say anything. His next comment was so quiet I barely heard him. "How do you know she even likes you?" Anger boiled inside of me, and took a step closer to Mason, clenching my fists. "You wanna repeat that, Mason?" I asked in a low voice, venom seeping into my voice. Mason looked up with a renewed confidence. "Yeah. I said 'How do you know she likes you?"

He looked angry now. I reeled back slighty. I'd never thought of that before. Now that I thought about it, Violet hadn't actually told me she loved me. But we'd only been going out for a day, I countered. I ignored my doubt and glared at Mason. "I know she likes me because she's going out with me. To me, that's a pretty good sign someone likes you." I hissed. "How do you know she's not just going out with you for your money?" Mason asked. Okay, he just crossed a line. I knew Violet didn't care about my money. Heck, she'd paid for her own dress today.

I took a step closer to Mason so we were only about a foot from each other. I gave him a death glare. I saw a trace of fear cross his face, and then it was gone. " If you say that again, Mason, and you're going to regret." I seethed. He looked confident when he responded back, "She's probably just going out with you for your money." Okay, he had it coming. Without thinking, I balled my hand into a fist and punched him full in the face.

He reeled back, cupping the part of his face I'd punched. "Dude, what's your problem?" He yelled at me. "Leave my girlfriend alone." I said simply. I was debating whether to punch him again, but before I could, Violet came running into the room.

"Oh my gosh Seth! What are you doing?" She yelled at me. I shrugged my shoulders and she glared at me before going over to Mason. "Mason are you okay?" She asked him, putting a hand on his shoulder. He smiled at her before giving me a smirk. "Yeah, as long as I have you to take care of me." Wow, cheesy much Mason? "Let me see your face." She demanded, prying Mason's hand off his face.

She evaluated the damage. "It looks okay. But you're going to have a bruise." She replied sympathatecially. "Do you want me to get you an ice pack?" She asked him tenderly. "Yes, please." He said, overplaying the puppy dog look. "Okay, I'll go get it. You just stay in here." She ushered him to a chair.

She walked back to me, glaring. "Seth, come with me." She demanded. She looked cute when she was mad. I nodded simply, following her into the kitchen. The moment we were in the kitchen she exploded.

Mason's POV

I watched Violet and Seth's retreating forms. Suddenly, I wanted Violet. Bad. I'd never felt this way about a girl before. There was something so attractive about Violet. She had a special quality that drew you towards her like a magnet. And she was beautiful. Her wavy dark brown hair and those eyes! Why wasn't she a model? Seth was one lucky guy, that's for sure. But I had a plan. Soon, Violet would be going out with me, leaving Seth in the dust. I smiled, ready to put part one of my plan into action.
