Chapter 18: Fake or Original.

" Your son has thousands of reasons for a girl to fall for him but what I did that was to safe Omair from a major injury, my father told me about your husband that he's the only man who can judge the game fairly ".

Mayaan explained confidently, she wasn't lying and her truth was bitter.

Mother glanced her surprisingly and asked something which I didn't expected so far,

" Mayaan,
Girls dream to be with your friend, don't you ?
Be honest with me dear,
Don't think that I am Omair's mother, count me as your well wisher! ",

Mayaan smiled but it was a fake one & she answered;

" I am being honest with you Mrs. Qasim about my thoughts and it's an open fact about Omair that he's all what a girl dreams of but I am not from one of those girls who dream to be with a guy like him who has fallen in love hundred times and dated girls more than anyone can imagine ",

After listening to both the ladies conversation, I changed my clothes and said Tim to take me to a bar.

What is mother up to,

What is she planning about my future that she asked Mayaan's help for it and she couldn't reject the proposal.

Beside all this

Why Mayaan said to mom that we are not friends any longer!!

Why she wants to stay away from me and keep distance..

I didn't asked Tim cause I actually ordered him to stay with me as gaurd just like before in the bar. I saw my uni friends and joined them but they asked me;

" Omair ,
You look pissed off,
What's the matter bro? ",

Fahad asked with a concern, I smiled and said;

" Just a little bit tired,
that's all folks ",

All of them tapped my shoulder one by one, to cheer me up while the waiter came with the juices Fahad orders for us. He knew our choices,

I took a sip from my lemon mint drink and it tasted kinda different from usual, I was about to ask the waiter, what was in this drink that it tastes strange meanwhile Ali said ;

"Guys let's do the one sip challenge just like we did in old times ",

All and so did I, Tim was standing beside me, I said him to be seated and he accepted with sitting on a chair next to mine.

We asked Tim to do the countdown and he started it.

The challenge was who can drink his entire drink within one sip & finishes it at first,

Tim announced and all of us took their big glasses and drank it,

I was the last one to finish, all of the them laughed at me and so did I laughed like a goof and Tim glared me shock.

The world around me was spinning, everything appeared funny but what I saw was not funny at all cause it was Mayaan sitting in front of me and she was smiling but this time it was her real beautiful innocent smile.
