Chapter 23: In or Out?

One entire week passed and I hadn't talked with Mayaan after that evening call, I saw her many times at balcony but she didn't stayed their when I stepped in. It was like she was ignoring me.

I got my answer and it was that Mayaan has kicked me out of her life but now what cause I had cancelled my plan of moving to a new apartment.

I tried to call her but she didn't answered and when I visited her home she

ignored mean seriously,

Was my confession too bad or is it me whom she doesn't likes?

Day by day I got confused and their was no solution for it,

I went for the door open it and was kinda amused to see the person at my door step,

"Mr.Saif Al Jaber,
What a surprise!",

I said with an amusement,

"Well,

It is cause I am here to invite you at my engagement party",

Saif invited me to his engagement party and frankly speaking I wasn't surprised cause come on look at that man he still had the charm to grab the attention of ladies and give their heart back flip with amusement but I was astonished when I knew about that lady who got engaged with him, it was Mayaan's mother.

Well God knows better what's the story behind it and beside all this Saleh asked me for a favour which was to take his niece cause he will come to the party straight from his work to Saif's home but I wasn't in mood to attend the function cause I knew Mayaan will be there with her fiancé and that would be something I can't tolerate. So I said Tim to take them at the party while I will stay at home,

It was a land-line number, I answered the call,

"Hello,

Where are you young man?

I thought you will show up at first!",

Saif asked me concernedly,

Mr. Saif but seriously I am busy cause I have some work to do",

I made an excuse while rubbing my neck but Saif chuckled and said;

"Stop lying Omair,

I will be waiting for you young fellow",

He cut me off and said

"Will you please go and see what's taking Mayaan so long to come, her mom is worried for her",

With saying this the old man said his bye and ended the call but I was confused why Mayaan wasn't there in the party,

May be she isn't happy that her mother got engaged and soon she will get married!

I got ready and wore my grey tailored suit and went to Mayaan's house cause I called her more then ten times but she wasn't answering my calls, so I thought of going to her home. I rang the door bell more then three times and finally the door was opened, Mayaan opened the door and her gaze was low;
