Chapter 14: Head or The Boss.

" Who's this Head,
I will meet this man & tell him that you don't want to marry Jadlaan ",

I made a decision in front of Mayaan but she wasn't pleased from my plan. So I asked ;

" Why you are still upset cause according to me it's a perfect idea ",

"You won't meet him! ",

Mayaan disagreed while sitting on the bed with face palming. I sat next to her but I couldn't touch her cause of the promise, so I took the cushion and poked her with help of it. She didn't remove her hands from her face,

" Mayaan,
Who is he" ,

I said irritably cause it was getting on my nerves that why Mayaan is so scared of that man,

" He is my father ",

Mayaan replied in lower voice, tears were rolling on her cheeks like pearls dropping one by one.

My phone was vibrating and I could barely open my eyes cause the thing that happened last night between us didn't allowed my mind to rest.

With rubbing my eyes, I grabbed the phone from the bed side table & looked at the screen, it was an unknown number.
So I answered the call checking the time on the wall clock and it was 1:00pm.

" Hello " ,

With yawning I answered the call,

" Hey,
Nerd fellow!
How are you? ",

Said the guy from the other side with a heavy voice. I stood up & leaned back on bed, asking the guy confusedly ;

" Who's this? ",

The guy chuckled and said;

" It's me,
Mayaan's future husband! ",

It was Jadlaan, he said it egoistically. His words sting like I was bitten by a snake;

" Don't you dare Jadlaan ",

I said savagely breathing hardly & I don't know why but I can't bare Mayaan to be with him. The thought of Jadlaan being Mayaan's future husband clenched my heart,

" I dare my friend cause today your neighbour next door is officially saying yes to my proposal ",

Jadlaan chuckled & said meanly.
I was stunned, I felt my heart beat was reducing its actual speed like I was running out of oxygen, Jadlaan added;

" If you don't believe me than why don't you ask your best friend cause today she's meeting me at 3:00 pm in the cafe ".

He informed, before I could ask or say anything further he disconnected the call.

" She's accepting the proposal,

But why? "

I stood up from the bed throwing the blanket away,

" Is she out of her mind ",

But all of sudden I remembered something that happen last night,

" Yes,

I am a Freak, not a boxer,
Not a Fighter ",

She knows that em not a professional boxer who can defeat Jadlaan, so she thought to accept that Dermo's proposal.
