I exit my bedroom while stretching and yawning as I make my way back to my messy bed where my phone has been ringing for the last minute and I've just tried to ignore it as I was trying to do my business in the bathroom like one does.
I answer Lewis and as I hear his voice my day gets brighter.
"Morning cupcake." His voice is cheerful and I love it.
"Morning Luke." I giggle and I hear him chuckle as well before he speaks again.
"Are you free today!"
"Yeah, what are we doing?" I ask excited to be invited to do something because on weekends I'm always at home or the park reading a book like a damn nerd...I hope that doesn't offend nerds because they're not bad, not at all.
"I wanted to ask you to a beach party date?" He asks, his voice sounding unsure. My gasp of excitement even startled me as I started bouncing up and down on my bed while squealing.
I hear Lewis's laugh through the phone as I know he's hearing me. "Are you joking?" I scream out.
"I'm notttt!" He drags like a little kid making me laugh too, my cheeks are hurting from smiling so hard.
"Yes! I want to go on a date with you!" I shout back and make him chuckle again.
"Alright then be ready in an hour or so, I'll pick you up okay?" He says and I nod frantically before telling him I got it and hanging up.
I jumped in action immediately, not wasting a second to get ready and look my best for this party date on the beach.
This is so exciting! I've never been to a party before, let alone I'm a beach.
I turned on the Bluetooth speaker on my nightstand and played music as I picked out my dress and then got on doing my hair and my makeup.
I did beach waves to match the vibes and did a little bit of makeup with a lot of blush and highlight because I love blush so much.
I put on cute little accessories to match my pretty green dress and get my bag to put my lipgloss and my phone in there. I couldn't decide on shoes though, because I wanted to wear my slides that I always wear at the beach but they wouldn't go with the outfit and if I pick sneakers I would have to take them off because I wouldn't want to fill them up with sand...oh my new white sandals, they'll go perfect with my bag.
Making my way down the stairs while checking the time and trying to get a little snack really quick as I've been living off of the big meal Landon got for me and didn't take me home until I finished it and the snacks Lewis got me.
Saturdays are always lazy for me as I never have anywhere to be because I don't have friends to invite me out and I'm always either dealing with my mom's shouting or just deciding to go to the library to study or read.
