Landon's sister: Hi, I'm sorry for the way Landon spoke to you last night, I wish I'd just told you that he was asleep or something. Landon's sister: He's very upset about that little accident last night and he also went to visit dad because I forced him to since I'm scared he might pass away soon and I wouldn't want him to not see his only son for the last time, you know. Landon's sister: I don't know if he'll come back today because he's still very very upset and he's been sleeping all day today but after the visit but I'll make sure to talk to him about you today and maybe he'll soften up and come back to you. Landon's sister: please don't be upset, everything will be okay.
I read the texts Landon's sister sent me today at the very early morning, the thing is I didn't really have time to respond to any of them as I got ready for school and got out of the apartment as soon as I could because I slept late last night I woke up late so I had to run.
Speed walking and looking down at the phone while trying to think of a good response for the texts his sister send wasn't a very bright idea as I bumped my head Into someone so hard I almost fell to the floor, but thankfully their hands saved me from that embarrassing event and held me steady.
"Are you okay?" The voice clearly belonged to a boy, I looked up at them finally and it wasn't who I thought it would be but it was someone.
I don't know who I was expecting it to be honestly. I'm still feeling delusional as heck.
"Hi," I say and he smiles.
"Hi," he copies me. "What's up?"
"I'm rushing to class." I point down the hall, even though my class is all the way down the left hallway.
"What's your next class?" He asks and while I think I look down at his style, not like what I'm used to seeing at all. He wore black baggy sweats and a nice white graphic tee paired with pandas. His style is so nice...not as nice as Landon's though.
"Uh, English I think?" Gosh, how could I forget?
"Oh the teacher is not present so they gave us a free period, do you want to grab something to eat while waiting for the next class to start, I am honestly starving and I'm not waiting around until lunch in two hours." He seems like a nice guy, I feel comfortable talking to him. Maybe he wouldn't be too bad of a friend either.
"Sure," I nod wanting to drown the sounds my stomach is making at the mention of food, I haven't had anything to eat yet and if I waited until lunch I will pass out literally. "What's your name by the way?" I ask him as we walk side by side right out the school doors.
"I'm Koda, what's your name?" He responds.
"Ooo I like your name, Koda, I'm Montana." I extend my hand out to shake his.
"Thanks, nice to meet you Montana, you have a beautiful name too." He smiles.
"Thank you, I honestly don't know who named me it since I didn't get to meet half or not even half of my family. It's cool tho," I shrug and look ahead of me.
