'2 years later'

"At first glance, I thought you were the prettiest most adorable girl I'd ever seen in my life and I almost there and then fell in love with you.
But the fact that you weren't giving me the same kind of attention made me so mad and I thought maybe if I pushed you around no one would want to be with you because I hated you, but you seemed to be the center of attention always." He says and I listen to him with a big smile on my face, tears wanting to just fall down from all the memories I'm being reminded of.

He holds my hand and while crouching on one knee on top of the rock that I've grown used to visiting, while in his other hand, he has a diamond ring.

I cover my mouth with my other hand and drown out the sobs escaping me so embarrassingly.

Landon and I have been dating for two years now and never has he made another mistake that would make me regret ever giving him another chance, he made sure to do everything right and show me as much love as he had to give.
He opened up to me more and told me everything he liked and everything he didn't.

He's now a man that's grown from the immature behavior he had a couple of years back and I'm very proud of him for coming this far.
He works in an office and has made enough money to move us into a new apartment that was bigger, my mom too of course but she's barely home as she's also working and I'm still trying to finish college and start working somewhere.

Landon didn't tell me he was going to propose to me today or even before today and up until he pulls this beautiful diamond ring out of his pocket I realize he was set on wanting to spend the rest of his life with me.

"You were the only thing occupying my mind that at some point I started failing school, and when you started tutoring me it got me in jail." He chuckles and continues.
"That was what I deserved for what I did to you after all though, I even started softening up to you but then this terrible accident happened and I forgot about my beautiful girl and I know that's so bad because I lost you completely for so long although I still had hopes that we'd be back together again and we did thanks to god." I point upward and I nod trying to keep quiet.
"I started loving the thoughts of you the thought of us and I started loving you so much that I couldn't sleep at night, I knew then that I love you more than anything and I would do anything it takes to get you back in my life and here we are."

"Landon," I whisper and he kisses the top of my hand so softly.

"I want you to be my wife and the mother of my kids because I know you can be perfect in all those things all while looking like a doll, be mine and grow old with me Little pink because I swear to god I am going to die and go to hell if I don't tie us together right this second." I giggle and nod my head.
"Thank fuck because I don't want you to go to heaven alone." He chuckles and slides the rings onto my finger. So beautiful.

Landon lifts himself up and pulls me in for a kiss, a long but passionate kiss that claims every bit of me and makes me melt into his hands.

"I love you, wife." He whispers on top of my lips.

"I love you more husband." I smile and attack his lips again.

"Let's get down before I rip you apart right on top of this poor rock." He jumps off and grabs me by the waist to throw me over his shoulder and run to his car.
My laughs were echoing everywhere in the dark forest but I didn't care.
I was the happiest I'd ever been, with the love of my life.

With the person that I got to spend so much time with and show so many emotions. With the person that I never imagined I'd ever be walking off with toward the sunset while laughing and talking about the future.

"I love you, Landon," I whisper with my head laying on his shoulder as we watch the sun go down.

"I love you more little pink."
