Montana Lowren

The sky was gloomy and rain was about to start pouring any minute now, I hope I get home before it starts raining though, I don't want to get my new Hello Kitty zip-up hoodie wet.

I walk along the sidewalk with my hands shoved inside the pockets of my hoodie and listen carefully to the footsteps walking behind me.
Maggie didn't want to walk with me as she likes riding her motorcycle to her house but never offers me a ride which I don't mind at all because I hate motorcycles, I get scared when I hear one.

I sigh and watch my step as the sidewalk is pretty old and broken and has grass growing in between the lines that are separated.

The pair of footsteps walking behind me were in unison like they were coordinated to walk like that, I liked it.

I'm used to hearing them every single day as I go to school and come back. They're in my school, but I barely talk to them.

Their names are Mason, Landon, and Lewis.
I talk to Lewis the most, he's the kind of guy that's more my type of person to hang out with rather than Maggie or the other two guys.

Mason is a little distant and Landon is the worst person to ever walk the same path I take. He's so mean to me and a lot of people too, he pushes me around and calls me names which I hate. But I always try to be friendly in case he changes and wants to be friends.

I don't know, I think I'm only wasting my own time.

Sometimes they make jokes and I have to hold my laughs back because they're just too funny, but sometimes I can't seem to hold it back.
Lewis is the funny one in the group and I like him a lot. He makes jokes to me as well when we're talking because he says he loves my laugh.

I catch Landon taking short glances at me here and there and I think that's kind of weird because I always think he's thinking about dropping his big boy act and just giving himself in. I'm not a bad person I promise I love making friends.

"Hola Hanna Montana!" Lewis skips like a little kid to get to me and I giggle watching him walk with me.

"Hiii, Dora the explorer." I greet him with the same energy and he smiles ear to ear.

"Can I walk with you?" He asks.
And I nod.

"Of course, you can,"

"Why do you have to be so darn cute." He swings his arm around my neck to shove my head into his chest unexpectedly.

"Oh-" I get startled as we make a stop and the two end up slamming into the both of us.
