3 weeks later

I groaned, rolling out of bed and immediately running to the bathroom. I knelt down beside the toilet, grasping my hair as I emptied my stomach. Last night's food appeared, in a much less appealing way. Although, when are pickles and chocolate supposed to be appetizing? I never thought they could be together until I got this weird virus.

I heard footsteps as Harry came up behind me, taking my hair from my hands as I continued throwing up. He rubbed my back as I leaned back onto my ankles, finishing by wiping my mouth and sighing.

"Love, I think this is more than a stomach virus."

"Harry, the doctor said it was a stomach virus. He specializes in what he does, I trust him."

"You don't think-"

"No, Harry." I stared at the toilet, too weak to flush it.

"Maybe if we just got-"

I looked over at Harry, angry for his assumptions.

"Harry, I'm not pregnant! I can't be pregnant!"

"Aria-"

"End of conversation." I stood up, flushing the toilet and going back down to lay in bed. I yanked the covers over my head, expecting Harry to come back into bed. Instead I heard the front door slam.

I got back out of bed and looked out the window. Harry was backing out of our driveway. I sighed, turning around and walking downstairs.

I made coffee as I sat at the breakfast bar waiting. After about 5 minutes Harry walked in with a Publix bag. Without saying anything he walked over, emptying the bag.

The first thing he pulled out was milk chocolate, setting it in front of me. I smiled at him.

The second thing he pulled out was a jar of pickles, setting it down as well. It seemed as if there was one thing left, a small box. Harry hesitated pulling it out. Still saying nothing, he pulled out the box.

Pregnancy tests.

He looked at me, checking for facial expressions I assumed. I just sat there staring at the box. He nodded, walking past me and going upstairs.

I sighed, looking at the box. I picked it up, walking to the bathroom.

No.

No, no, no!

I took three tests, all saying the same exact thing.

I'm pregnant.
