I dropped my phone and tears immediately fell from my eyes. Casey noticed first and immediately tried to get my attention. I felt numb.

"Aria, what is it?," Casey asked.

That grabbed Harry's attention, him immediately trying to pull me into a hug to comfort me, even though he didn't know what was wrong with me. I didn't hug back. My arms stayed glued to my sides as he tried to get some sort of affection out of me.

"Just, check your phones," I sobbed, barely speaking.

They both got out their phones, trying to find what I was crying hysterically about. Harry found it first and pointed it out to Casey.

"Oh my God, Aria. I'm so sorry." Casey said.

"Aria, look at me," Harry said sternly.

He surprised me by his voice, not sounding sympathetic at all when speaking. He spoke again.

"You cannot sit here and cry. You need to call Lou, and help her with whatever she needs. Imagine how she feels right now; her two year old is missing. Wipe your eyes, suck it up, and go get in the car."

He sounded like my mother. I did what I was told though, and went downstairs and got in Harry's car. Two minutes later Casey and Harry both came out, with Harry getting into the car and Casey giving me a sympathetic smile and wave.

The tears still fell; there was no way I could stop them. I tried my best to cry silently, and not sniffiling unless absolutely necessary. I had known Lux since she was in the womb. I was her Godmother. I was supposed to protect her, and here I was finding out by a notification that she was kidnapped.

"Lou, what happened?"

She was bawling in front of us, but I didn't mind. Her crying started to stop, but she was still sniffling and whimpering.

"We were in the grocery store," and she starts wailing again.

"Shhhh, it's okay," her husband Tom tried to comfort her. His eyes looked bloodshot, and my guess was that he had already shed all of his tears.

"A-A- And I left the cart in the frozen food section to go get a frozen pizza," she continues mourning.

"And when I came back to the cart," her eyes got wide at this point.

"She was gone." Tom finished, tears starting to fall.

Lou put her head down against her chest, as if it hurt too much to hold it up. I felt such pain and sorrow for her. Her little girl was missing.

"Fuck," Harry muttered.

"Fuck!" He repeated, crying out.

I pressed my hands on Harry's shoulders lightly, trying to calm him.

"Harry, what's wrong?" I asked.

"I saw her." He yelled.

Lou's head shot up.

"You saw her?!" She screamed. "Where?"

He immediately got up from the kitchen table, pacing around the dining room with his hands on his head.

He then walked over and pressed his hands on the back of the dining room chair he was sitting at, looking at Lou and I.

"I'll be back." He said. With that, he walked opened the door and slammed it shut.
