Chapter 3: Bad Timing

It's the next day and Amy is checking the schedule for the night, she was schedule in a tag team match, Kaitlyn & herself vs. Tamina & AJ.

"This should be a fun match," she thought.

As she was double checking the schedule, Wade Barrett walked around the side to get a glance of it as well.

"Hey, you must be new here, I'm Wade, what's yours name, sweetheart?" he asked with his British accent.

"I'm Amy, I just started not too long ago. And I know who you are, I'm a fan, you're one of my favorite wrestlers actually," she said.

"Thank you, I'm glad you are," he replied.  "Do you mind if I show you around, beautiful?" he asked.

"Sure, I'm up for a tour," she answered.

Wade showed her around the arena and how everything worked usually. Then, they went to catering together and to grab lunch. She saw John with a confused look on his face.

She was having fun having a conversation with Wade, he was an interesting person. However, she felt like she had to go talk to John and clear the air that they were just acquaintaces.

"Hey, John, how are you today?" she asked.

He had his head down, "I'm okay," he murmured.  "Are you dating Wade now?" he asked.

"No, why do you ask?" she responded.

HIs tone full of jealousy, "It seems like he's flirting with you."

To her, it sounded like he didn't like the fact that she was talking to Wade. Amy was just quiet, they barely knew each other for him to be that jealous.

"He was just showing me around but I have to go, I guess I'll see you later, John."

"Sure, I'll text you later."

She hugged him, "Sounds good."

After hanging out for a few weeks and chatting with Wade, he asked her to be his girlfriend and Amy accepted. She fell for his accent, the gentleman that he was with her and his charm. He met her family, they like him a lot but John wasn't a fan of them dating.

The girls were so happy for her, they were so glad that she found someone that she loved and worked with her so they could spend time together. Most of the Divas have husbands or boyfriends outside of work, which means that they don't see each other often.

Wade and Amy had been dating for a while now and they loved each other a lot.

One night, everyone was out in the town.

She decided that she didn't want to go out, "Wade, you should hang out with the guys tonight, you haven't been out in a while."

"Babe, I want to stay with you."

She hugged him, "I think you some time with your boys, I know Justin misses you."

"Are you trying to get rid of me babe?"

"Not at all, I just want you to have fun tonight, I know the boys have been saying that you've changed because of me."

"Who cares what they have to say?," he went closer to her and kissed her, "But I'll do it to make you happy, my sweetheart."

"Have fun but not too much fun without me."

"I won't babe, be careful here, I love you."

"I love you too Wade."

A few hours later, Wade came to their hotel room very wasted and Amy was ready to put him to sleep. He started to get angry out of nowhere and shoved her to a wall. She stood up and he pushed her so hard that she fell and got hurt in the process. She knew the girls were out and the only person that was in the hotel was John so she went to his room.

Amy knocked very hard in his hotel room door.

Amy began to cry, "John, open up please, I need you."

He opened the door in a hurry, hugged her and brought her inside.

"Babe, what's going on? Who hurt you?"

She kept sobbing, not knowing how to answer his question, "Wade shoved me to the wall and pushed me really hard."

"I can see the marks from his hands," he added quickly. "Stay with me tonight if you want, I'll protect you, I won't let him get away with this," he said. He hugged her, kissing the top of her head, she felt secure around his arms.

"But John, I don't want him to lose his job over me," she replied.

"He should, I mean, how can he treat you like this?"

"John, it wasn't entirely his fault, I told him to go out with the guys and he had a few drinks.'

"I would have chosen you instead of going out with the guys but that's just me."

The next morning, there was a loud knock on John's room. Amy felt John waking up and heading towards the door. She was too tired to stand up, she just wanted to lay there, she felt at peace when John was around.

"Where's my girlfriend?" Wade asked.

"Wade, I don't think you should talk to her just yet, she's still frightened from last night," John explained.

"I don't care John, she shouldn't even be here with you when she's with me," Wade argued.

"Look, she's my friend and I'm protecting her, I'm going to talk to Paul and Stephanie about what happened," John said with a serious tone. "Give her some time to recover from all of this before you talk anyway," he added.

"Fine but remember she's my girlfriend."
