Chapter 17: Welcome to Paradise!

John had a few days off after touring the most of the year. Amy blindfolded him, she packed everything for him, they were headed to the Bahamas! When Amy was younger, she was a huge fan of the Olsen Twins and her favorite movie from them is Holiday in the Sun. After watching a movie over a billion times, she fell in love with the location: The Bahamas. she never had time to actually go, she decided to wait until now to go with her handsome boyfriend.

Once they landed, she took the blindfold off of his eyes.

"Wow this is paradise," he said shockingly.

"This is for working really hard this year and everything you've done for me," Amy said.

He hugged her, "This place is beautiful and that I get to spend it with the love of my life is better."

They were staying in the Atlantis Hotel, a beautiful location. Amy and John could swim with dolphins, jet skiing, even had dinner by the aquarium. They decided to go to town and explore. Everything about this place was beautiful, it was incredible to here.

Amy brought him to The Bahamas, she did amazing with the surprise. Plus, he get to see her in a  bathing suit again which is a plus for him. John doen't like comparing Amy to Liz but every time he sees how his relationship with Amy has progressed, he keeps thinking that his break up with Liz happened for a reason.

They've been having fun for a few days but Amy is getting sick.

"John, go have fun, I don't want your vacation to be ruined because of me," she begs him.

"Baby, I don't care about the vacation, I care about you, we can always come back if we don't enjoy it this time," he assures her.

He can tell that either she has food poisoning or she caught a virus during their stay, "I'll do you some rice with milk (arroz con leche, which is her favorite)." He prepared her food, "Babe, I want you better and you won't feel better unless you eat."

Ever since John started dating Amy, he has learned a lot about her. She doesn't like soup, she likes arroz con leche (rich with milk). Whenever she's sick, it makes her feel better. he has learned more Spanish to be romantic with her.

John has been nursing Amy while she's been sick. Now, Amy is feeling so much better. He was taking his nap so Amy jumped on top of him, she kissed him. "I'm feeling so much better, thank you."

Amy felt him kissing her back, he woke up, he had her legs around his waist. They were making out passionately, touching each other's bodies.

He kissed her neck knowing is her weak spot. "John, I love you." 

"I love you too my Amy," he said as he kissed her very passionately, she felt like he had been holding back before.

Today was their last day in The Bahamas, John brought strawberries with chocolate and a lot of junk food for them to enjoy as they watched a few movies. Just laying in bed next to her love, made her night perfect. She was just sad that we had to go back to reality.

On the plane, Amy placed her head on John's shoulders, "Thanks for this vacation babe, I needed it."

"You're welcome my love, I know needed it, you've been working a lot lately. And you always do something special for me and it was my turn. But sorry I ruined it by getting sick," she said.

"Babe, that's not your fault," he responded.

They had arrived back to work. Tonight, we were in Cameron, North Carolina.

Hunter called Amy, "Hey, how are you? How was your vacation?"

"I'm doing great, it was amazing to get a few days of to spend together and away from the routine, how about you?" she asked.

"Working as always," he answered.

"I actually called because you've been cleared to wrestle and I wanted to let you know your storyline for your return," he said.

"Really? That's awesome!" she said. "Now, it was time to make an impact," she thought.
