Chapter 15: Expect the Unexpected

Amy has been the Divas Champion for about 4 months now since she won it at Extreme Rules. It's almost time for the Night of Champions PPV, it's a Pay-Per-View in which every championship is on the line and when Amy would face my biggest challenge. She had to face Tamina Snuka for her Divas Championship. She's a tough competitor but Amy is known for being a fighting champion.

Amy was nervous but she did her usual routine, she went to the arena with John, she stretched and did her warm up while listening to music to get in the zone.

"Baby, are you okay?" John asked.

"I'm okay, just nervous about the match," she answered.

He rubbed her shoulders, "Babe, you'll be fine, don't worry  about it too much."

"I know Tamina is tough, I just don't want to get hurt," she responded.

"She's tough but it doesn't mean you'll get hurt," he reassured.

"Amy, it's time for your match," a crew member informed her.

"Thank you, I'll be there," she responded, "Wish me good."

"You'll do fine," he said.

**Night of Champions**

"This contest is schedule for one fall and it's for the Divas Championship," Lilian Garcia announced. "The challenger from the Pacific Islands, Tamina Snuka," she announced. "And her opponent from Orlando, Florida, your Divas Champion Amy," she said.

Amy came down to the ring with a smile on her face even though she was nervous. She slapped hands with the fans and got up on the turnbuckle and blew kisses to the fans. Amy kissed the Divas Championship, she handed it to the referee and he raised it high in the air.


Amy knew she had one advantage over Tamina with her speed. She kicked her legs a few times to weaken her. Amy gave her everything she had. She went to the top rope to give her a dropkick but she landed wrong on her knee. Amy felt her knee out of place and the pain was excruciating. She kept yelling, the referee checked up on her, she informed him that she could continue because she didn't want to give up. Amy blacked out after Tamina kicked her, all she heard was the bell which meant she had lost her Divas Championship. She worked very hard to get that title only for it to be taken away in seconds. Amy told the referee that she felt her knee out of place.

John came running to the ring, "Are you okay baby?"

"My knee is out of place, I can feel it," she answered.

As Amy got up to get out of the ring, she could hear the crowd clapping, she blew kisses towards them and waved goodbye. John helped her walk, "Baby, it's okay, I'll take you backstage." 

"John, I don't want to be injured," she cried.

The doctors checked up on Amy's knee backstage.

"It's definitely out of place, you'll be out for about 3 months now," Dr. Sampson said. "Put ice on it until you leave tonight," he added.

"Thank you Dr. Sampson," she said.

"No problem, be careful Amy," he said.

Amy cried, she didn't want to be out of action, she wanted her championship back. John had his match, she was in his locker room putting ice on her knee until he came back. Ever since she signed with the WWE, she was scared of having an injury like this. John's match was over, Amy attempted to get up to get ready and head to the hotel. She just wanted to rest and hope these next 3 months passed by quickly.

John entered his locker room, "Babe, what are you doing?"

"I was trying to get out of this chair to pack up my things and leave," she answered.

"No, babe, it may get worse if you walk alone," he said.

She saw him as he packed their belongings, "Love, you don't have to do this."
