Chapter 11: Is This Reality?

Amy and John went to the hotel room, they were exhausted after the day we just had.

"Babe, are you okay?" John asked. "You've been really quiet since the show ended," he added.

"I just don't know what to say or do," she said.

"You don't have to say or do anything babe," he said while he was kissing her neck. "Just come lay with me, I'll help you fall asleep," he said.

"Sure, love, that sounds like a good idea," she said.

Amy got comfortable next to her prince charming, it felt great to be beside him after everything that happened. John rubbed her shoulders and kissed her neck, she started to doze off.

Amy received a text, "You can't get rid of me that easily, I'll take John out of the way for you, it won't hurt a bit."

Amy couldn't sleep, she went for a walk around the hotel. She left John a note," Baby, I went for a walk, I have my phone on me just in case, I love you."

After walking and attemtping to clear her mind, Amy decided to go back to the room and get some rest.

"I'm back love," she said but she didn't get a response which was odd.

Amy woke up and started making breakfast, "John, we have to get ready!," she yelled and received no response.

She went to the bed to wake him up and she found lots of blood on his side. She turned him around and he's dead. "John, no!" she pleaded with tears in her eyes.

"John wake up, please!" she kept screaming with blood on her hands.

If only she had not left last night, he could have been alive right now she thought. 

She dialed 911, "911, What's your emergency?" the operator said.

"My boyfriend is dead," she screamed.

"Ma'am, calm down, what happened?" she asked.

"I don't know who did it, I just want him back, I love him so much," she kept screaming and crying.

She felt someone shaking her, trying to get her attention, only to wake up and find out it was all a dream.

"Babe, are you okay? What's wrong?" he asked.

"John, you're okay, thank God, I thought I lost you," she hugged him.

He hugged her back with a confused look, "Babe, what happened?" he repeated.

"I had a nightmare, someone killed you. I woke up and you were killed during the night, I kept screaming and crying thinking that I had lost you forever," she answered.

"No, babe, I'm fine. I'm here with you," he repeated to her. He wiped the tears from her eyes and kissed her, she was so glad it was all a dream. She couldn't think of her life without her prince charming.

They had another autograph session tonight before SmackDown. she received a call from Paul, "Good morning, Amy. How are you?"

"I'm good, how about you?"

"I'm doing excellent, I actually called because I have a proposal for John and you. I think you're going to like it," he said with excitement.

"Really? When can we talk about it?" she asked curiously.

"Before or after the autograph session, whenever you guys want," he answered.

"I think before the autograph session, I'm curious to know what it is," she said.

"Good, i'll see you both in a bit," he responded.

"You sure will," she hung up.

They were ready and drove to the arena, they met with Paul, "Hey guys, so I'm going right to the point," he started. "For the storyline now, The Shield will add AJ Lee to their stable and we're going to help John tonight after The Shield attacks," he added.

"Wait, who's we?" she interrupted.

"Shawn Michaels and myself, we're reuniting DX but we're adding you both to the stable," he said."It will be DX, John Cena & Amy versus The Shield & AJ Lee," he explained.

"I love it Paul," John said. "I think the audience will love it, too," he added.

"We are starting tonight, Amy vs. AJ Lee, Amy wins and AJ attacks you, The Shield's music comes on and John rescues you, he's outnumbered then Shawn and I make the safe," he explained. "To end the show, we all pose together," he assured.

Amy was so excited, she loved DX and it was always a dream to be a part of DX and now it was happening.

The autograph session started, she hadmet so many wonderful fans, they put a smile in her face. All of the sudden, she had a fan that looked familiar but she couldn't remember where she knew him from. She was signing the poster he gave her, "Hey Amy, I love seeing you, when are we going out?" he asked as she looked at him. It was the man from the fast food restaurant and the same one that showed up at RAW: Tom Smith.

He had a gun and he pointed it to John, "Don't do anything crazy Tom," Amy pleaded.

"I just want us to be together Amy," he explained.

"But we're together, Tom," she said while she went towards him.

Everyone around them had ducked, they were scared for their lives, some of them even had a chance to run away. Amy decided to distract Tom while she made John a signal to get the security guys. She looked at Tom with a seductive look. Looking at her served as a distraction, she gave John the signal behind her back and he called security. Just as he was getting arrested, he shot his gun.
