Chapter 20: Red

On her spare time between shows, Amy has been recording her album but she cannot wait to release it, she decided to release a Preview EP with a few songs to show what's coming up next. Amy hasn't released an album in a few years but working with WWE means she gets to be part of WWE Records. Being with John has inspired her to write more than she had before. John inspired her favorite song on the EP, "Dreaming of You," he loved it and she decided to surprise him with the first copy of the EP.

Amy was entering the RV, "Hey love."

"Hey babe, what's going on?" he asked.

"I actually have a surprise for you, I hope you're proud of me," she said.

"What is it?" he kept asking.

"Close your eyes, please!!," she pleaded.

He closed his eyes, "Here you go," she said.

He looked at the cover of the EP then at Amy, "Is this what I think it is?" he asked.

"Yes, sir, it is, and it's just the beginning," she answered.

He hugged and twirled her around, he kissed her.

"I know it took me a while but I finished step 1 of the Red Era," she said enthusiastic. "By the way, do you like the last song?" she asked.

He looked at the song listing, 1. Red (Taylor Swift), 2. I Knew You Were Trouble (Swift), 3. Heart Attack (Demi Lovato), 4. What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) [Kelly Clarkson], 5. In Real Life (Demi Lovato), 6. 22 (Taylor Swift), and 7. Dreaming of You (Selena).

"Is that my song?" he asked.

"Yes it is, the first song you inspired me to write," she said shyly.

John inspired "Dreaming of You" but Wade also inspired some of the songs. She wrote "I Knew You Were Trouble" because of him. A lot of people had warned her about Wade but she fell for his British charm and the way he was he treated her. Amy wrote "Heart Attack" because after what happened with Wade, she was scared and she didn't want to fall in love. Amy was scared of falling for the wrong guy and repeating the same story all over again. "In Real Life" was also inspired by Wade, she realized what she had with him is not what she wanted. She wanted someone to be there with her and for her and he wasn't. She haven't written songs like these in such a long time, she was really proud of the RED era coming in her life.

Tonight, WWE was in Houston, Texas and Mr. McMahon approached her as soon she got the arena.

"Amy, lovely to see you here, I wanted to give you an opportunity tonight," he started. "I want you to perform one of your new songs tonight, if it's possible," he added.

"That will be lovely, I'll sing 'Heart Attack' is that okay with you?" she asked.

"It's your choice Amy, just make the crowd go wild. We'll air it to start the show," he said.

"Sounds perfect, thank you," she answered.

She was glad that the guys from her band had been hanging out with her to rehearse lately and "Heart Attack" was a song they all loved to perform, she couldn't wait to tell the guys.

John listened to Amy's song, he just closed my eyes. She's amazing, he tweeted @JohnCena: "Wow I'm super proud of my girlfriend @RealAmyWWE. Babe, I love your EP, you did an awesome job. <3."

She replied to his tweet, "@RealAmyWWE: @JohnCena I wouldn't have done it without your help my love, I love you tons <3."

If you didn't know Amy, you could listen to her music and know her already. Charles came towards him, "John, did you see?" he asked.

"See what?" John asked.

"My daughter is a fan of Amy, she texted me saying she's #1 on iTunes and her song "Dreaming of You" is #1 on the singles chart and "Heart Attack" is #2," he said.

"Wow, thanks for telling me Charles," he said.

He called her to tell her the good news, "Hey babe, I have great news."

"What is it love?" she asked.

"Charles' daughter is a big fan of yours and she told him that your EP is #1 on iTunes and "Dreaming of You" is #1 and "Heart Attack" is #2 on the singles chart," he said.

He heard silence on the other end, "Babe, are you okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, sorry, I'm just in shock, that's all," she answered.

"Be proud of you because I am babe," he said.

"Thank you love, you always know the right thing to say to me," she said."By the way, Vince asked me to perform tonight to start RAW, isn't that amazing?" she added.

"Definitely babe, I'm very proud of what you've accomplished so far, I know you'll do more too," John said.

He could sense she was smiled on the phone, "John... I love you so much, you have no idea."

He felt like he was blushing, "Thanks baby, I love you so much too, Te amo princesa."

Amy's nerves were taking over her body, she hadn't performed in front of a crowd in years now. The guys and Amy had rehearsed and the song was a perfection! She was listening to the song in her iPod to ease her nerves. Before every performance, the guys and Amy would pray for everything to work out fine.

"Guys, thank you for sticking with me through all of this. I'm glad we're back together to make great music. Let's pray," she said. "We pray that everyone loves the performance and that our nerves turn into adrenaline for us to use on stage, and we hope everything goes well and as we rehearsed, Amen," she said. Everyone went in a circle and huddled up and they shouted, "We're the best, let's do this!"

RAW was about to start and Justin Roberts announced, "Please welcome WWE's CEO Amy and her band The Rockers."

"Hello WWE Universe, I want to dedicate this performance to all of you, my family, friends and most importantly the love of my life John Cena for all this support. I love you, I don't know where I would be without you," she said. "This song is called "Heart Attack."

Performing was amazing, she looked at the crowd so and most of them were singing along, it was an amazing feeling to have. She had that adrenaline rush and she walked around ringside, slapping hands with some of the fans until the song was over.

"I think I'd have a heart attack," she screamed.

The crowd went crazy, the guys and Amy bowed before them, "Thank you guys, enjoy the rest of the show."

Once they were backstage, the guys and Amy were excited, "That was amazing!," they said in unison.

They huddled up together, "Thanks guys, this was worth the wait for sure, thank you really," Amy said.

John was there waiting for her, he hugged her so tight, she had to catch her breath when he let her go.

"You did amazing babe, thanks for dedicating it to me," he said.

"You inspired it that's why I thanked you," she responded.

They kissed, a passion kiss, she felt like time had stopped and they were alone forever.

Mr. McMahon ran over to us after they kissed, "Amy, great news," he said.

"What's going on?" she asked.

"All the songs from your EP are on the top 10 on the iTunes chart, your EP has gone platinum too!," he said.

"Wow, that's amazing," she said.

Since Amy had not released music in a few years, she thought the fans would have forgotten about her and her music. On the contrary, being away for a while and releasing new music now made it worth it.
