Returning home, I decided maybe I should just let Akali continue to work with us, so long as all traces of her activities were off the Net and she did take becoming an idol seriously. We can't have such a small scale scandal too soon, otherwise this dream will end before it's even begun. The sooner it's off, the better. It really could've gone worse, like a lot worse. For all I know I could've caught her leaving the place of a lead vocalist of some upstart boy band with shame and disappointment on her face and in her heart. No one would know about Akali's history if I didn't toss it to the air like a pizza on a roof. Speaking of which, gotta catch up on Breaking Bad.
I wasn't going to pour gasoline on the small fire that was her side job and cause a roaring blaze to form, there was no reason to and it would really only cause me more trouble in the long run. Just gonna move on from this situation; make an active effort for it to be nothing more than a bad memory. Yeah- a bad memory.

"Morning, Pro." Akali greeted me casually while I sat at my desk, sipping some coffee I picked up on the way while working on miscellaneous things. Don't know how caffeine is good for curing hangovers, but it sure as hell was helping with mine.
"Oh. Morning, Akali. Today is just the usual lessons taught by Kai'Sa." I told her, she smiled and nodded, leaving the room to go change in the recording den most likely. Ahri poked her blonde head out from the break room, a jovial grin on her.
"I don't know what happened but, it looks like you and Akali managed to work things out!" Coming out from the break room she stood in front of my desk, hands behind her back.
"Well, it's still a bit early to say if things worked out," another sip of my coffee, "She and I did come to an arrangement though. That doesn't fully eliminate though the risk she has posed. KDA might be unknown right now but should it hopefully kick off, everyone will have to strictly follow code of conduct. I won't be able to give her a third chance."
"Heh. I'll make sure she stays in line." She proclaimed, moving around my desk and giving me a hug in my chair. I'll admit it caught me off guard, for a moment just sitting there like a statue. But after a second I came to my senses and lightly returned it. "Thank you by the way, for helping us. I know it caused you trouble but I'm glad it was resolved."
"Like I said, you girls are my responsibility. Wouldn't exactly be able to forgive myself if anything happened to you, this job be damned." I honestly replied. She parted from the hug, her hand squeezing mine before she left the room without another word.
Turning back to my work on the computer, an email buzzed and I opened it up to read it. It was an update on the uniforms for the girls, oh good! While I read through it though, my mind slowly started to wander. Again I couldn't shake this feeling of familiarity from Ahri. Where the hell have I met her before?
...
"Ahri, I've been meaning to ask but, what was your relationship to the Producer like?" Akali asked her friend, wiping sweat from her forehead with a towel while drinking water. The girls have been practicing for nearly two hours straight, so a break was in order.
"My relationship to him?" Ahri responded.
"You said you've known him since you were kids. What was he like?"
"I am also somewhat curious...he seems like a very interesting man." Kai'Sa spoke up, Evelynn watching off to the side while drinking water.
"Well, he and I met back in middle school...I had just moved to the area and he was the one to show me around. Suffice to say we became fast friends. We were pretty much inseparable, until halfway through highschool." Sitting down, Ahri began to recount those days, reaching for her phone and opening it up. Ever since the day she had found you, she went through all of her old photos and put the ones of you both in an album.
