Dancing on the roof top(jake)

You and jake had been together all throughout the three years you've been together and it was the schools prom/leavers dinner soon and you were hoping jake would ask you to the dance,smiling as you got off the bus you saw your best friend (bffs name) you start talking to her when you get a phone call you answer in seeing as it was jake "hello" you say smiling "hello beautiful" he replys "so I see you've arrived home" he says you laugh "yes I have I'll be up in a sec when I've finished talking to (bffs name)" you say smiling at her "oh ok we'll when you get in the door after your one hour conversation I'll be waiting on the roof top of your house" he says "wait how did you get into my house my parents aren't home" "ahh you see your parents love me bub and they gave me keys for this very important date" he says "ohhh what about this very important date" you best friend says you shake your head and say "yeah" "well my love you'll have to wait and see" he says and you can just see the smirk on his lips on the other end of the line "we'll ok I'll be up there in about 20 minutes" you say "ok love" he says hanging up you smile and hear your friend say "I wonder what he's up to?" She says you shrug and continue your convo, you had just said goodbye to your friend and was now taking off your coat and shoes placing them somewhere and walking up the stairs to the roof top, you open the door to see jake next to a rack of suits "so what's this about?" You ask "we'll love I need your help choosing a suit he says holding up three different suits a blue,white and black you nod and smile walking over to him you take the black one and say" this one" as he puts it on "why do you need a suit for?" You ask "well my lady if you must know I plan on tacking you to the dance this Thursday with me?" He says holding up two tickets to the dance while blushing you giggle and smile nodding your head "so that's a yes as in you'll go with me?" He says getting excited you laugh saying "yes" he hugs you and spins you around he pales you down and you both look out at the view you were pretty high up and you could see mountains and birds flying from afar "do you think it will be hard? you know dancing the proper dance?" He asks after a while "it's called a waltz and no, all I know is what my mum and dad taught me when I was little" you giggle "my dad used to put me on his toes and prance me around the room" you say "here let me show you" you say grabbing his hand he looks at you confused as you get into the middle of the roof top you place one of his hands on your waist and place his other in your hand you move back and he mover forward "see that's all you have to do" you say "there the steps" you add as your both still dancing and spinning "it's a little bit easy now" he says not taking his eyes off his feet you pull his chin up gently and say "keep your eyes to mine" and so he does, for the rest of the day you both stay on the rooftop dancing.
