Chapter 37 (Last Chapter)

"I can't believe you're actually getting married!"

"Yeah in two hours, she's just getting ready now."

Polnareff and Jotaro were having their last smoke break on the mansions balcony. Joseph said that it was ok for them to use the mansion for the wedding. It was weird that after tonight they'd never see each other again.

"I heard Kakyoins coming. I'm glad you guys are cool now. That everything worked out in the end."

Polnareff said not thinking much about it. Jotaro shook his head and lied.

"Well yeah, he's always been my best friend."

They didn't say much to each other as they mostly only smoked. Jotaro didn't want to open up about his longing to be with Kakyoin again. Polnareff knew if he kept talking it wouldn't end well.

Kakyoin showed up and felt very awkward. He didn't even know what to do as he walked around. Hoping to see someone he knows. He eventually bumped into a brown haired woman and apologized.

"Oh sorry."

"You Noriaki Kakyoin, oh my God I'm such a big fan! My names Marina!"

Not expecting this, Kakyoin opened his eyes in shock before saying.

"You're the girl Jotaros marrying! Oh hi! I'm so flattered."

She was absolutely gorgeous, Kakyoin wondered how she fell for Jotaro. She deserved someone better. While it wasn't noticeable, she did have a bit of a baby bump. Kakyoin smiled at the thought of the couple having children.

Marina had to say goodbye as she needed to get into her dress. Kakyoin waved goodbye as well. He know didn't know what else to do. There wasn't many other people around. That was until Josuke walked in with Giorno on his arm. Not too far behind them was Caeser. Caeser looked more refreshed and Kakyoin was happy to see him.

"Caeaer!"

Kakyoin waved and Caeser waved and greeted back.

"Kakyoin! Come over here kid. It's been like three since I've last seen you."

Kakyoin rolled his eyes and walked to where Caeser was. Caeser had already gotten some champagne and Kakyoin didn't want any. He felt like he needed to be sober if he wanted this wedding to go smoothly. Caeser asked him.

"So where's your date?"

Kakyoin remembered now why he didn't talk to Jotaros family much. Kakyoin forced a smile and answered.

"Not seeing anyone right now actually. Jobs kept me busy ya know. How's Joseph?"

"No idea haven't talked to him in three years. At least he's still alive. That reminds me I really should see him. I should see how close to death he is."

Caeser patted Kakyoin on the back and went looking for Joseph. Kakyoin tried looking for Josuke and his unfamiliar friend. Giorno had wondered off somewhere else. He bumped into a taller blonde man.

"Oh sorry!"

Both of them turned around. They both recognized each other but didn't know each other. DIO comforted.

"It's all right."

They uncomfortably stared at each other before they left each other. DIO recognized those eyes very well. He tried to think of someone that could be familiar. While he hadn't thought about him in years, Haruno Brando is a possibility. It couldn't hurt to try.
DIO caught up to Giorno and asked him.

"Are you Haruno?"

"How did you know that name?"

Both of their eyes widened. Dio cleared his throat and tried not to stammer.
