Part Nineteen

Damn giant! How dare he leave me hot and bothered in front of these church ladies. Such a possessive ass! You love it. My mind retorted. Shut up! I blushed profusely and laughed nervously when I saw the ladies reactions. It's like they couldn't believe what just happened in front of them. I couldn't blame them. The giant was well...the giant. His presence and dominance was just over the top. My man was hot guys. Like...really hot and sexy and...hot. Did I say hot? I don't remember. But he was hot. Okay okay we get it. Geez! How many times are you going to say it? Oh shut up. You like to ruin my fun. Leave me alone.
Me: "Um. Sorry about that. He's just...." I trailed off. "Hot" Khozeka said dreamily. "Sexy" Michelle said in a breathy voice. "Dangerous" Phaphama said next. "Huge" Lindelwa said, her eyes were still bugged out. "Hot. Did someone say hot already? Whatever. Anyway Busi your man is...wow" she said fanning herself. These bitches! But I couldn't help but to laugh.
Phaphama: "Oh my God! How did you snatch up a man like that? I mean, you're you and he's...that." I could see that she didn't mean it in an offensive way. It's just the giant and I were polar opposites so I knew what she meant. I shrugged my shoulders. In all honesty, I sometimes wondered myself what it was that attracted the giant to me this much. I mean, he told me but still. That man loved me people. Like really loved me. Fiercely.
Me: "We just ran into each other I guess." I said laughing.
Tina: "Can we just talk about how he just kissed her like..." She shook her head in disbelief.
Michelle: "I know right. So unapologetic about it. So manly. It's something one would read out of a romance novel or something." They all nodded.
Me: "Okay okay ladies stop lusting over my man." I told them joking. The ladies laughed. Well...I wasn't joking really. You're turning into your possessive giant. So what? He's mine. I don't want other women lusting over what's mine. Oh my gosh! What has gotten into you lately? I honestly didn't know.... "I need to go now but I'll see you guys tomorrow at church and then after church we'll go straight to the bridal store, okay?" They all nodded and said their goodbyes and I left. 

It was the next day. I woke up feeling stiff. It was all because of all that working out I did with the giant last night. It had been brutal. The giant had decided to change our workout. He taught me defense techniques. He told me that I needed to learn how to defend myself just in case. Even though that 'just in case' made me nervous, I couldn't disagree with him. I wanted to learn. Remember once I had been kidnapped by Noel and his crew, and I had been defenseless? Yeah, I didn't want to be defenseless again if that happened. But I think the defense techniques that the giant was teaching me yesterday were advanced. It was like martial arts or something. So freakin hard! You guys had no idea how hard it was. So now my body was stiff as hell and the worst part was that I had to go to church.

I was in the bathroom taking a shower. The giant was in the kitchen making me breakfast and also Xolile, Lukhanyo and Temba were there with him. Their jests and laughter had woken me up. After I finished showering, I went to the bedroom to put on my clothes. I needed to buy new clothes because the ones I had were big now and it was obvious that they were big. Okay, I guess I had lost quite a lot of weight. They say you see on your clothes if you've really lost weight. And that was true for me. I chose to wear a dress that had been too tight for me in the past. I quickly did my hair. I think I told you guys that I styled my own hair. Yeah, so I always did these different styles of plaits on my hair. I don't know where I learned to do hair but it's like I woke up one day and I could just do it. I did this cute style and took my stuff and went to the kitchen.
Xolile: "Super is here. We can now finally eat." He did happily.
Zano: "Over your dead body." The other guys laughed shaking their heads.
Temba: "He never learns."
Lukhanyo: "Dude."
Xolile: "Ever since you met Super, you don't feed me anymore. Not cool bro. At all." The giant just grunted... "bros before hoes remember."
Zano: "Call my woman a hoe again and I will drop you." He said dangerously. The other guys chuckled.  Xolile just rolled his eyes at the giant.
Xolile: "It's a phrase bra, chill. I'm not calling Super a hoe."
Zano: "Don't care. Don't put the word hoe in the same sentence as my woman." Oh gosh! Why did that give me goosebumps. This man of mine!
Xolile: "Whatever bro." I sat down on one of the counter chairs next to Lukhanyo and the giant served me breakfast.
Me: "Thank you honey." I said softly. He got that intense and possessive look that I loved and kissed me right there and then in front of his friends. I blushed and kind of buried my face in my plate and ate my breakfast while Lukhanyo chuckled softly next to me. He had a laptop in front of him. Every time when I saw Lukhanyo, he was always in front of a laptop or had an iPad in his hand. He was kind of like a geek or something and he even wore glasses. I gave Xolile one of my sausages when the giant wasn't looking and he winked at me. Temba mouthed 'I'll tell on you' to me and I pulled out my tongue at him and he laughed shaking his head. Honestly, I had missed this. Them. They were all good guys really. After I finished eating, I rinsed my plate and we left.
