Hi guys! =D

I added some bits and pieces to Chapter 9. Don't start reading Chapter 10 unless you've already read the end of Chapter 9 because there's an important scene at the end. =)

Thanks! :>

Samuel and his mother entered a spaciously large and wide oval room, painted with two different relaxing colours: pink and green which suggested that the owner was a female. Over to the far right was a surreal built in small waterfall releasing a refreshing sound of water flowing which would help in having a good sleep. Beside the water fall was a 55 inch flat screen television. The furnishings were posh and the bedroom had deft touches of sophisticated gilt. The King sized bed occupied a lot of space in the room, the type that looked like it was from an upper class individual. The harlow bench from John Rosselli made it look more feminine. On the far left was a large picture frame of Samuel's sister, Aimee.

"I miss Aimee, mom. Is it about her? " Samuel asked.

Aimee was living in Canada for more than five years already and they hadn't heard from her since she moved there. Samuel went to Canada a year ago to visit her but she didn't want to be found. That's when they started losing hope of fixing things with her and bringing her back to the Philippines.

"I miss her too. And.. uhm.. ah..," she cried out as she stuttered the words in an intense emotion.

"Mom, what is it?" He questioned her in a demanding, confused but soft voice.

"Aimee.. Aimee's.. Aimee's pregnant," she finally said.

"When did she call you, mom?! She's pregnant?! How is she?"

"Just before the party, son. She's fine. I'll tell you everything once I get back from Canada. I wanted to tell your dad, but I know it's best if he doesn't know any of this. I couldn't risk it. If he knew that Aimee called, the situation would just get worse, and I don't want that to happen."

"You're going to Canada? What are you going to tell Dad?"

"Yes, tomorrow at 6:30 pm. Don't worry. I have a plan. Just be sure, he wouldn't know any of this, okay?"

"I promise. Just promise me that you're going to take care of yourself and that you'll be back here with her."

"Yes, I will. But before we go, I have something else to tell you."

"What is it, mom?"

"It's about Celestine. Have you told her?"

"Told her what?"

"That Rose is dead."

"Mom. I told you that we wouldn't talk about this, anymore."

"But she has the right to know."

"No, mom. Please. We already talked about this."
