Jay held out a mirror in front of Louie. Louie was stunned at what she saw. She was indeed a living Barbie doll.

As Jay ran his fingers through the soft curls of her dark copper-coloured hair to create more volume, someone lightly knocked on the door.

Jay was ready to open the door but then Louie insisted that she wanted to try out her new pair of Rolando Christian Louboutin pump by opening the door herself.

Pulling her long dress to walk properly, she opened the door and found a man standing, facing on the opposite room. She noticed something familiar: His nape. A flashback from the airport hit her. It was him.

Jake turned around and saw Louie. He was captivated.

From Louie's boring, silky, straight, long hair, Jay added some lovely and luscious curls which made her hair sexy and exciting. It adorned her now radiant, spotless, porcelain-like skin. Her lips was the colour of a red rose. Her brown eyes were framed by long lashes.  She seemed the picture of perfection that every man would kneel down and ask her hand for marriage and that every woman would cry with jealousy.

Jake couldn't keep his eyes away from her face. He was gazing at her, adoring every feature of her face.

Louie, trying to erase her mind off the airport scene, gave Jake an awkward smile. Jake sighed in contentment. Her smile was enough to make his knees weak and was enough to brighten his day. He was lost for words. He was motionless, taking in little by little how gorgeous Louie was.

Louie, now aware that Jake was gaping at her, elbowed him and gave him a light punch on the chest.

"Hey, weirdo. Are we going or not?"

"Yes", was the only word that came out of Jake's mouth.

"Yes, we're not going or yes, we're going?"

"We're going. We're already late. Everyone's waiting for us."

"Who's.. everyone?"

"My family."

"Wait.. What?! You're introducing me to your family?! You're going to introduce me to the owner of this hospital?! "

"Stop asking questions and come with me. We're already late," Jake replied. He gripped her arm tightly as he could and pulled her next to him. He hooked her left arm inside his right arm, and he felt the heat, as their skin touched.

Lou pulled away right after they got out of the room and looked at him. She moved a meter away from him, and Jake stood firm in confusion.

"What? Why did you pull away?", Jake asked.

"I'm nervous, Jake. I'm not good at pretending. What if I fail?", Louie answered with her hands shaking.

"It's okay, Lou. I'm here with you. You know what?"

"What?"

"You look gorgeous, and people won't even notice that you're nervous. They'll be praising how lovely and beautiful you are, that you won't be able to say a thing. I promise that you will only be nodding and saying thanks to every  person you meet tonight, okay? I promise I'll do all the talking," Jake said as he stepped closer to her and brushed the strands of her hair on her cheeks, placing it behind her ear. "I promise," he whispered assuring her that everything would be alright. He clasped her hand and interlocked his fingers securely with hers.

Louie's cheeks flushed as they started to hold hands. She was overwhelmed by how a stranger like Jake could make her feel very at ease. She looked at him intently and realised how charming and how gorgeous he was.

His nose was ideally symmetrical and his lips were slightly full. His cheeks were like that of a finely-carved Michelangelo statue. The dimples on his cheeks became obvious as he gave her a gentle smile. His hazel eyes were daring and mesmerizing.

He was wearing a black collar tuxedo and a black trousers along with a pair of black Oxford shoes and a black, "butterfly" self-tie bow. He was perfect.

She looked away and giggled when suddenly, "What are you laughing at? We're late, sweetheart. We have to go."

He called me sweetheart. She bowed her head down and let her hair fall over her blushing cheeks.

"Okay, Mr. Weirdo."
