Louie rolled down the window and stared at the bay from her car. She saw the sun setting slowly below the horizon giving her a calm and quiet sensation. She closed her eyes little by little, feeling the gust of wind touching every detail of her face.

An image of the young man's back slipped through her mind. The image of him standing still on that exact spot got hold of her emotions. His perfect built and muscular body was undeniably hot. But it wasn't only his body and the thought of what she imagined to be his handsome face, which took her; it was all of him. But there's no way she's ever going to see him again.

The Ford Transit van they were riding suddenly stopped. Its tires screeched, and everyone shouted at the top of their lungs. Despite having her seat belt buckled, Louie thumped her head on the window and suddenly lost consciousness.

She woke up in a four-cornered, white-walled room. Her eyes flickered gently. She panned from the Spence door to the table next to the bed she was lying on. She noticed that she was in bed with adjustable height and side rails, and electronic buttons. It took her a little time to realize that she was in a hospital room. She was in the hospital for a reason she couldn't figure out. All she knew was that she's having a reflection about what happened in the airport when suddenly everything went dark.

Louie stayed in bed thinking what was going to happen next. Forcing her body to thrust forward, she leaned with her elbows firmly on the soft white surface of the hospital bed. Her useless body fell backward as she lost her balance while trying to push herself to sit. She was physically weak but she knew she was mentally alright.

She hugged the comfy, white pillow tightly with the Hospital Name, Manila Doctors Hospital, printed on it, lying right beside her. Louie, trying to figure out how to position herself in bed, suddenly felt something underneath her.

She was surprised to see a letter with no name and return address. It was written like how a fifth grader would write a letter. The paper used was textured and fragrant. However, she couldn't work out if the sender was a boy or a girl.

It says,

"I'm sorry for what happened yesterday. I kind of like.. wrecked your parents' car accidentally just like your cousin did to mine. Don't even think that I will find and hire someone to fix it since it wasn't only my fault; it was also your cousin's fault. Let's see in the next few days, who really is responsible for it. Okay?

PS: Your cousin is alright. She just had some minor bruises on her arm, but nothing to worry about. Don't ask me when she's going to visit you because I DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA. Okay?

See you."

She was confused if the sender was actually begging for an apology. There wasn't even a single sincere word written. It was more on accusing her and her cousin for what had happened. She was disturbed when the door suddenly creaked open and saw a man standing quietly and puzzled as if he entered the wrong room.  The guy walked towards her direction, and at last, she was able to see the clearer picture of the doctor's smiling face. She observed him for a brief moment. The man in his late twenties was wearing black patent leather shoes and a full on white lab coat. He has a dark brown hair trimmed nicely around his ears. His eyes were hazel, and she intently looked at it. I think I've seen him before. I've seen those hazel eyes before. She was wondering when and where she saw those alluring hazel eyes when his voice abruptly snatched her attention.

"Hi, Louie. You're looking good. Looks like you have pretty much recovered."

"I really don't know exactly what happened to me but yes, I think I feel fine." She responded in a soft voice.

"Have you eaten your breakfast already?"

"Oh, not yet. I guess that's why my stomach's growling all this time."

"You should eat your breakfast. You need it for your fast recovery. Do you want me to get it for you?"

"Oh, Please. Thank you very much."

"It's okay, Louie. I'm your doctor, remember?"

"Sorry, I don't remember." She answered. The doctor studied her and gave her the most handsome smile she ever had in her entire life. "You'll remember me. You just need to rest."
